  1. Norrie had a rare condition. Ligaments or muscle tissue, when damaged, (unfortunately for him this happened more often than to other players), would fission to the bone. This was why his injuries wouldn't heal and would often need more surgery. This was only found out for Norrie when he kicked the turf taking a free kick against Ayr utd in 94 I think. Too late for Norrie at that time. Such a shame. He was interviewed in black and white magazine and asked if he enjoyed his football career. He said no, he didn't due to his injuries and they way things went for him. Complete shame for such a talented football player.
  2. Wow! I managed to say nothing like the way you answered. Didn't think you would. Never mind, the better together misinformation wagon rolls on. Very emotional 'debate'. If you can describe a 'debate' in such a way as this lead up to the referendum question.
  3. Politicians, good or bad, have been egged or have had rotten veg. Thrown at them for years. Nothing is new here, nothing at all. The anti democracy element is available on both sides.
  4. What would happen if in, say, 2 years when Alex salmond may not be the first minister in an independant Scotland as the snp were voted out by an independant Scottish electorate and the new first minister decided to debate with NATO against sending Scottish troops to, say, Syria or Ukraine? Ifs, buts, maybes. All irrelevant to this septembers referendum.
  5. Very sad. No natter how famous you are, something's going to get you in the end. Motor neurone disease, altzheimers etc are just terrible illnesses to contemplate. Hope his family remember the good times. Real shame.
  6. Well, I for one am glad that no one blew that right out of proportion. It could gave made some right decent debating if anyone was to hang Malky mackay before any investigative reports were released.
  7. Hey, I've been to edinburgh zoo. I liked the ignoramus.
  8. This thread seems to be made now of Stuart Dickson versus his aliases. I can see Stuart now, shouting at the keyboard as he goes all gollum style then smeigel type 300 odd pages, the yes's are still yes's and the no's are still no's. Everyone is a lot angrier now than they were 100 pages ago proposals area til. Not being accepted by both sides. There also appears to be only one 'natsi' on here who is forcing his opinions on others constantly without considering other opinions, Stuart Dickson. Is it true, Stuart, when someone asks you your name you have to reiterate that it's "dick with a ck, you know, like a knob"
  9. Taxi driving can be insanely boring at times, I assume.
  10. Napoli Look for results of York City Sunderland arsenal. Passing interest in Leeds notts forest Sheffield Wednesday Chester City Peterborough Norwich.
  11. And a probable half truth as well. He probably overtook a car with a sticker.
  12. The no campaign have done very well to shift the full gaze of the average voter directly to 'currency' and 'national debt' to scaremonger the average voter into voting 'no'. These two points are fully negotiable in the possiblity of a 'yes' vote winning through. Concentration and study should be made on points instead like, the government stating ' there is no way back' if a yes vote comes to the fore, which in my opinion is a stupid a statement to make as any, the possibility of a 'yes' vote coming out on top then e majority of Scottish people voting for the uk to stay within the eu while the majority of English voters voting for the uk to come out of the eu would poo-poo half the governments arguments into scots voters ticking 'yes' next month. Trident and the possibility of its removal is high in the 'yes' casings agenda but how high is it with the agendas of the rest of the Scottish people and is it a reason to vote 'yes'. Will trident remaining in Scotland be a bargaining tool for any future Scottish government to gain favour with the possible future English government to change sea boundaries or divide up future oil profits for the good of the British isles and not just Scotland? Also in the event of a 'no' vote will David Cameron withdraw power form the Scottish parliment, take more of our tax money to pay for London transport and economy. Will the threat of removing shipbuilding jobs from babocks in the event of a 'no' win stand or will a newly independent Scotland with the pound in place prove good value to still have babcocks in place to build ships like it has done successfully in various guises for years? Can the conservative government and whoever wins the next election be trusted enough to keep promises they are making just now to Scotland and her people that in the event of a 'no' vote everything will be all right and the future will be all nice and rosy.
  13. 1.9 vw diesel doesn't have one, as far as I'm aware. Newer engines only I think.
  14. You will be doing journeys so you prob won't need it removed. I, personally wouldn't recommend it but it can be done and people obviously do it. I think it means an engine tune as well so an emissions check will be done on removal, but I don't think it'll be cheap to do that.
  15. Regen approx £70 . May be better getting oil and filter changed at same time. Mazda takes low ash dexelia oil so £180 or so for both. You'll know mazdas are good but a bit heavy on petrol. Diesel engines a bit better on fuel economy. 1.9 vw audi group engine is a good 'in. Cars spot on, too. 2 year warranty with main audi parts (not accessories or wear/tear though) so paying extra for an audi is worth it IMO. Octavia is a good workhorse, though. Vw audi do a lovely plum colour :-)
  16. Ok. If I'm on your ignore, you won't see this...... I work in a ford centre so I see dpf problems almost weekly. Apart from short stop start journeys sooting up the dpf with no return, supermarket fuel of all sorts causes problems unfortunately. I got a nod that using fuel from a 'jet' fuel station will help as it is refined better than others. I would trust known quality from a car. Toyota avensis less dpf, audi vw group 1.9 or 2 litre diesels just won't go wrong it you look after them. Renault and Peugeot Citroen Diesel engines are bullet proof but the rest of these car's aren't quite up to it. Ford 1litre or 1.6 litre ecoboost gives a great return on long journeys but it's best in a fiesta due to weight etc. does not too bad in a focus, though. Britain on the whole has poor quality fuel so with all the advice helpful or not that you get you may still buy a fiat or lada and it could work for you. Mazda diesel is also a good engine in a good car but get it serviced every 12.5k miles on the dot and get it re generated when prompted by a garage. All the motorway journeys won't stop the dpf sooting up so a forced regen will be needed at some point. If a diesel with a dpf has been traded in less than a year old with a mileage under 8-10k it's a possibility the previous owner has had dpf issues. Just buy a car your missus likes the colour of. She will never be wrong :-)

    So....

So, it's like this dude, let me take a selfie.
  18. Also why would both future (if it works that way) governments not want the pound to be the currency used by two countries linked by land? It would make trade far easier and cost far less. As far as England,Wales,Northern Ireland splitting with Scotland, look at the velvet separation between Slovakia and the czek republic. No issues. Easy. Oh. Sorry, no oil, hmmm. Wars around the world, Scotland being independant, common denominator? Errr oil?
  19. My father has a 'no thanks' sticker on his window and nothing has ever happened to him or his car. He also sports a 'no thanks' badge on his shirt/ jacket and nothing had happened to him. There are possibly hundreds of people sporting 'no thanks' on their cars/ apparel without incident. Maybe people know she is related to you?
  20. Good for you. At least you have a belief to hold yourself up to. Personally I can't see why, but that's why there are different political parties, football teams and religions etc.
  21. Shameless scaremongering? From a certain point of view telling people Scotland will get more power in the event of a no vote is without basis and could lead to ruination.(i also stated that I and possible only me, believes that Scotland will lose power in a no vote, no scaremongering, just a thought that I shared, shameless scaremongering would be me on TV spouting to the whole country what I believe) I picked Denmark and Sweden as I know that the people from these countries want a bond with Scotland and are waiting for it. Call it an oil bond, call it what you want but they see something in Scotland that some scots can't. What not stay in the union? Why stay in the union? We are being strangled and put into debt when we could be in the black with an oil fund for the future and a way of de-creating the underclass the conservatives created. To encourage people to work for their country and themselves (pipe dream?). That won't happen with the union in place. We should because we have the chance, and we should because we can. What if England decided to declare themselves independent from wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland. How would that go? Ukip? Who knows, their support is rising and folk who want a change are looking at them.
  22. I believe that on the no vote winning Scotland will have power taken away from us and what voters in next years uk will get is the status quo. Nothing will change. Over the last twenty or more years the uk hasn't learned. There are too many people holding on to the belief that the Labour Party will over come evil. It won't happen IMO. Millionaire politicians are to used to taking more than they should and giving less back that change is required. The possibility of English voters going more right wing (Ukip) in the future is something I don't want to be dragged into. We have our chance to go a different direction before that can be given a chance to happen to us, go it alone using immigrants old and new and the people we have, young and old to take a leaf out of Denmark, Norway and swedens book and get people motivated through making them interested in life again. There is a market with Denmark, Norway and Sweden to be exploited. Over 10years ago Danish people asked me when Scotland were going to 'come with us' and go it alone. These countries have known for years Scotland can do it ourselves and we have the chance to now. IMO.
  23. Wow! Didn't know I needed permission to like something. So sorry, won't do it again.
