AFAIK Gavin wanted to stay but Stubbs didn't see him being able to make the step up. I'm sure in the long term he'll be glad he doesn't have a season under a gaffer that didn't feel he was at that level. Reilly has secured a good move to a club elsewhere at a decent level. Alls well that ends well I guess.

Hits the nail on the head. This is why our Friday night away support is always good! A singing section is a great idea, you can see the lift it gives the players. A vocal support, coupled with good performances would make SMP a place teams wont want to come to.

Definitely agree, when I first seen the teamsheet and how light the midfield I was fearing the worst but Reilly and McGinn both got stuck in. Does anyone think he could get a run of games in the starting XI?

Looks like he was released by Partizan in December. Might mean he isn't quite match fit etc. Could turn out to be a good signing for us.
