  1. With all that's going on off the field this year with the take over and new people finding their feet on the board - I think if we are still in the same position come Xmas then I'm sure there will be a change but I do think that we should get behind the team as much as we can. I did give Rae a bit of lip yesterday but that was down to him not encouraging from the side when we were struggling. I think he could be more vocal from the touch line.
  2. We can't afford to bag him & being someone else in. We aren't going up - we aren't going down. We're stuck with him unless resigns. Slow , cumbersome & predictable.
  3. Sutton won everything in the air???? Every throw in he was behind the defender. That's just lazy. He missed a sitter at 1-1. Rae will NOT turn in around.
  4. Things aren't going to change overnight and I think 1 month is a bit much also. Maybe by the turn of the year if there seems to be no change and no ideas coming out the club then of course let's boot the board and the SMISA rep in the nuts - but it's all new to most people in the board so I would give them a bit of leeway to begin with. Rome wasn't built in a day.
  5. I've met David a couple of times and find him to be very articulate and knowledgable.
  6. I'm not on the committee. I'm a member of SMISA and more importantly a St Mirren supporter. I went to the SMISA committee with an idea about a company investing and in turn has been discussed at board level with hopefully a positive outcome for the club. I'm just one individual. If 10% of members have an idea then that's 130 more than we had previously. I did jump down your throat and I should have taken my time before replying sensibly, so I apologise.
  7. How the f**k do you know if the trust have any new ideas or not? Where would these be discussed? On a fans forum where the majority sit behind keyboards and don't even attend matches. Get a grip and don't talk shite. There's plenty going on behind the scenes at present and at the next SMISA meeting I'm sure these would be aired for all members to hear. But don't spout your bile on things you clearly know nothing about. On the contrary - feel free to get in touch with me to discuss.
  8. Are you a complete tool? If Rae plays two wingers and two strikers and four at the back - Where do you suggest Mallan plays? I don't agree he should play deep but if that's the formation Rae plays then what's the alternative.
  9. The cab driver???? Give the guy a bit of respect.
  10. Fair point - if we don't have one lined up I should have said. We don't need to sell anyone.
  11. Mallan has got to play deeper if we're playing two wingers and two strikers. If Alex plays one striker he gets pelters and if he doesn't play wingers he gets pelters.
  12. If Mallan goes before there's a replacement signed they can kiss my £ 25.- per month good bye.
  13. I've read the posts and comments. Regards the full backs not getting forward - Have they been told not to attack?
  14. Sensible pricing Shull. Made me drive the reasonably short distance from Falkirk.
  15. The games are played at the weekends according to the SPFL website.
  16. Hoping for an away trip to either on the Belfast clubs. Good weekend away.
  17. Shull - that would be too good to be true my friend but realistically it could be someone like Caley Thistle or Kilmarnock. Strange how Hughes left Caley and appointed a cheap option in Foran. Clubs living beyond their means.
  18. Great swimming by young Duncan Scott from Alloa.
  19. There were 9 of us in the Club Bar on Saturday from 12:00. Say 30 quid per round - Do the maths, lost revenue.
  20. If you see the Morton goal you will see Langfield started just about the 6 yard line. The goal was scored from the 6 yard line. Why he ambles back on his line I don't know. He could and should have cleared the cross.
  21. I thought Shull was giving the 1000th person a free hurl to Braehead?
  22. I believe the sellers have agreed to an up front payment and then staged payments over an agreed timeframe of 2 years. I might be wrong with the timeframe but that is what I read into the comments on Monday night.
  23. Stuart - You seem to be very knowledgeable about Youth & Community football. Looking at some of the names that have went Senior with your help should be applauded. I don't know the ins and outs of your "relationship" with the previous board, I am sure that any ideas you can bring to the table would be welcomed and considered. Up until now that's another 953 people with hopefully fresh ideas to be heard. Those people that are swithering and not sure if they think their 12 quid would give them a voice, please be assured that they will be. Already I have given a couple of contacts to people at the club / SMISA and meetings are planned to hopefully increase the revenue stream. And that is just me......A fat ginger bloke with a wee idea. Come aboard, it is going to be one hell of a journey, you don't want to be left behind. """" Need to stop drinking Red Bull at Breakfast """"""
