Shankland should be starting ahead of thomo, of that I have no doubt. The big mans not got the legs now. Lost count the day how many times he was offside, always looking to back in and hoping to win fouls, when he does manage to get his head on it Gallagher is nowhere near him, the long ball simply doesn't work.

Wouldn't say he was having a "helluva game" but at the time in the game the sub should have been thomo for shankland.. Halloween I know but are you dressed up as elvis??

Half time, saints the better team in the half. Pressing high and not giving them a minute on the ball. Goodwin booked for his first tackle after 5 minutes, langfield caught out with there goal. They look a threat on the break up the flanks, jack Baird having a good game so far. A big half coming up and hopefully start the second half with the same tempo as started the first.

Decent performance the day, superb goal from mallan, the lads going to have a very good career in the game. Away support was great from the off, decent wee stadium too. Had to grind it out in second half for sure, but 3 points in the bag, onwards and upwards. Have a good night folks.

The big guy was superb again yesterday, his work rate's fantastic, chasing everything down and not giving them time on the ball. He took a few tackles and just gets up has a laugh and gets on with it. The bow he took in front of the pars fans after his wayward shot was priceless. He might not be most gifted of players but he's certainly the type of player that you'd want in the middle of the park with you.

You wouldn't have got much change back if you did.

He might not have been fit enough to start the game.
