Notwithstanding his comments on crowds, I'd have Dreyer back. Maybe took him a while to find his feet but I thought he was coming on to a game in the weeks prior to his injury.
McAllister on loan again ? Would also take Morgan, if he'd come back. Understand what you mean really Muzak, but apart from a couple of high profile errors he was steady and reliable, certainly as reliable as anyone else we had there.(Ekersley excepted).
In a (poor) effort to drag this thread back on topic, I’d just like to say that other than signing/re-signing/extending/whatever, Popescu, Muzek, McAllister and GMac, I have absolutely no suggestions as to who we should be looking to sign.
Agree on the valuation, however, his passing is not bad. It was terrible in all the matches after the split (don't know why) but prior to that is was good. And will be good again. Marshalled the defence well and won everything in the air. Not worth 350k to anyone, but we should be very interested at 100k.
There will be plenty disappointed Dee fans if that os correct. Reading their posts on P&B over recent weeks it seems he's about the only player they'd like to keep for next season
Agree. I wasn't sure if we'd ever see him back on the pitch this season given what with his injuries, but so glad we did. I would retain him for next season.
I think Cooke deserves to start ut like you I believe OK will stick to one up front, likely to be Mullen if Jackson still recovering. This will be OK if we stop launching high balls up to him and play it into the channels instead.
I am also concerned that we keep 11 on the park. We've had a few breaks with decisions recently. Need to take care not to give the officials the opportunity to make a mistake....
I'd prefer Mullen to start. Jackson has been effective whenever he's come on as a sub. Also like to see Cooke start but I suspect we'll take a more conservative approach and OK will stick with his favoured formation, trying to make us hard to beat, with only one up front.
