Thought that was excellent commentary. Regularly watch Alloa highlights, the guy does a decent job, and Alloa are decent to watch. If the ref never booked Lyons for either incident nobody would have flagged up that he was lucky to avoid a booking.

Only saw the match live, so haven't had the benefit of watching replays. The sending off looked harsh, first yellow was for winning a fifty fifty ball, the Alloa defender went in just as hard as Lyon, and made a massive yell which had the ref reaching for his card. Second yellow, Lyon was running with the ball towards the central defender about 30 yards and put the ball past the central defender and tried to run past him, the central defender and Lyons collided and my first thought was that the defender was correctly being booked, for a body check, then to the shock of all watching a red card followed. Strange decision.

Kyle is a decent enough signing, two footed with a bit of pace about him, a bit of a risk, but better than we currently have in that position.

Im thinking Anton is staying, he, s up for the fight, not had a decent offer from down south, and actually quite likes it up here. If I were to take a total guess about who we might be interested in, and it's a total guess. Maybe GA.

Only worth taking if he, s on loan to the end of the season and his current club still plays wages, and a spell on loan gives both parties the opportunity to have a look at each other.

Think we have enough in the squad to get past Alloa, Celtic isn't a priority , and should be about flooding the midfield and making life difficult for them, maybe that's the game for Cody Cooke up front by himself. We need a bit of width, and a bit of paceup front, and a left back. I would like us to have this sorted for the Hibs game.

These guys will hopefully be given a chance when we are two nil up.

I think Polworth is a strong tackling central midfielder with a good shot on him. I thought Tansey was a central midfielder who played in front of the back four alongside Draper. I'm expecting McGinn and Tansey to be a solid central midfield that would provide a bit of protection for the back four, and create opportunities for the four attacking players to get into forward positions. Polwarth, could either provide cover for these players, or be one of the attacking four players. Will have a clearer idea when the transfer window closes. But very happy with our recruitment so far.

This transfer window is getting very interesting, east European winger also doing well on trial, and a big striker maybe signing. Big Anton might decide to hang on for a few months. Might put a wee bet on Saints to win the Cup.

I'm liking the way we are using this transfer window, especially the fact that the players we have targeted all have a decent amount of experience. Wish we had implemented that plan last may
