Good to see Stubbs moving on one of the players identified as not good enough.

Imo Friday's game against Killie is too soon for our team as it's not the finished article. I want us to win but I'm not going to lose sleep if we don't. It's about getting a step nearer the opening league game for me.

According to McG on P and B there could be 3 more signed by Friday. I hope one is an experienced centre half. I assume Rogers and Kepkawa are 2 of them.

We need at least 6 more players. We are light on experience at the back and need more strikers.

Being comfortably away from the bottom 2 will do for me. We are a team in progression so survival is a must.

I have no problem with Stubbs ripping the squad apart and rebuilding with his own players. I dont think its healthy to inherit and keep someone elses squad. You get more from players who sign for you. What has to happen is that we get better quality through the door. I wait to see what our squad looks like come August.

A new player or 2 would be good this week.

There is still several weeks before the transfer window closes. The big test for Stubbs will be just how good a quality we can bring in. Just now i am hoping that these are squad players and the real team are waiting in the wings to be signed.

Where was this announced? Both McKenzie and Eckersley have experience which could be vital. Our centre halves are young and inexperienced at this level if you take out MxKenzie. Unless we have better replacements lined up then its a risk.

So far our old manager is bringing in players i would doubt will get them up.

Stubbs should use his celtic contacts to get some players on loan.

We are still light in a few areas. Would like to see at least 4 or 5 more players come in.

I wasnt keen on the appointment of Stubbs and co however i am gaining confidence in our new set up as time goes on. I actually feel he may be better placed to take us forward than Jack given his contacts.

Good set piece taker just what we need but can we go sign the number 7 as well.

Im liking the business done by Stubbs so far. I feared we would fill the team with journeymen SPL players who had failed eleswhere. AS appears to be building a squad and not just a team. I fully expect there to be some good loan signings and a couple of older heads to balance things out. I am pleased with how its going so far.

Another striker would not go a miss. I think we definitly need one if not two wide players with pace. Morgan will be difficult to replace.

This site is a nightmare. We moan when no player comes in then we moan when a player signs. Why Cant we see how he plays before passing judgement.

Can only think its Brian Rice. Was hoping for a player but think it will be our new AM

If Stokes knuckles down then he would be a decent striker. However i think he is just training with us and will move on elsewhere.
