  1. I’m quoting both of you because I know you are on opposite ends of for and against on this. I also can’t be arsed sifting through multiple pages of shite on the other thread. What is the full on deal with this “veto” that Kibble apparently want?
  2. I’ve never been in a Waitrose in my life. I can imagine upon entry I would probably burn as the Waitrose Gods deny me entry for not wearing my finest suit and tie, and using words like “naw” and “canny” instead of speaking like an Etonian.
  3. I remember as a kid always being queued up at the bank at Paisley Cross whenever my mother needed to speak to one of the advisors. Back then Internet banking may not have been as big as it is now, but many of us still require the services that the internet can not achieve. I feel for many, especially the elderly down here in Cornwall who have to make a day trip just to go to their bank.
  4. I get that many people are paid through their bank account and don’t really require the necessity to make deposits. However, it is still a necessity for many others. Businesses need that go-to place to make deposits or collect/swap in change. Many people who are self employed need to transfer cash earnings into their bank account. Indeed I’m in this position myself - the majority of my earnings are cash, but all outgoings for the bills are through the bank account (minus my rent which I can actually pay in cash to the agency). Without a local bank I’d have travel miles just so I can actually pay my electric/gas bills, council tax and so on. Having to do that every month would be an absolute ball ache and a waste of time that could otherwise be used for better things.
  5. It is both petty and ridiculous. £37 is £37 whatever form it takes. Good on your wife for challenging them on this. As you say in your final paragraph, they are heading towards this. But does this mean we enter a cashless society, or a society where you have to travel 50 miles just to deposit some bloody cash?
  6. He left them as his anger swelled while while he was typing this out.
  7. Is it really a fan owned club when an outside company has a veto?
  8. You weren’t complaining about the size of my arse last night...
  9. Bodmin used to have 5 banks but we are down to 2 now. HSBC, Barclays and NatWest all shut within a couple of years of each other. The problem this causes in Cornwall is that it takes bloody ages to get anywhere else, so people are having to travel for a lengthy time just to visit their bank. I know it’s all about the internet these days, but you canny deposit cash through your f**king phone.
  10. I’m in the driver’s seat of a car most of the time, would that be cheaper?
  11. Free flights to and back from Cornwall would entice me to go to more games.
  12. It’ll still be GLS/Goodwin/Obika/S.McGinn’s fault that we lose ground on Ross County/Fakes and get caught up by Hearts/Accies
  13. I consider the fake Saints safe. The real Saints, Hackies and Hearts all require rallies of 8, 11 and 12 points to hit 30pts. By the time those three sides achieve this, the Fakes will have more than likely garnered further points. There are too many sides needing too many points to drag the Fakes back into it. One team may catch them, but all three, I canny see it.
  14. Most who voted won't care at the moment. Nothing has dramatically changed yet. Until it does they will believe they made the right decision. That's not a criticism BTW. Aye mate I do agree with you. They’ll ignore it as much as they possibly can. Just like seeing the lights coming on the train track yet you still head towards them. Considering it’s Cummings it’ll be f**king cancerous.
  15. My concern regarding Hearts is that they have Liam Boyce, who’s goals can single handedly keep a team up. Yes he needs supply but he’s an excellent finisher. I’d be more comfortable if it was a side down there you’d expect to be sat there. I know Hearts have been utter pish, but I see them still bailing themselves out.
  16. That's a given. They'll be doing what Cummings tells them anyway. The ironic thing is many of the people who voted Tory were complaining of “unelected bureaucrats” and the (non-existent) “EU dictatorship”. Now it’s an unelected dictator running the country. It be f**king hilarious if it wasn’t so sad.
  17. Are you claiming that the results above posted regarding Kilmarnock vs Sevco 2012 are not in the real world?
  18. Javid was also told the replacement advisors would be hand picked by No.10. The dictatorship continues to form it’s shape.
  19. What you say isn’t wrong, but it doesn’t always translate into results. For instance, based on what you say, Hearts should not be mixing it down the bottom with Accies,, County and ourselves. It’s easy enough having the money but it’s also about spending it on the right guys. Livi always have an idea of what they want to achieve when building a squad, and fair play, they recruit fantastically.
