This forum is full of pessimism and despondency, following the games against Morton and Montrose, so I propose a thread to cheer us all up: reasons for optimism. I'll get the ball rolling. 1) We still have the forward to join us.

Funnily enough I saw some on my street! I almost photographed it, as haven't seen it for years.

I heard it was a 17 year old lad who was stabbed. At least it's made the news. Around my way I have passed several forensic crime scenes over the years, which I have heard are the result of a stabbing and can never find anything about it in the papers. When it's so frequent it doesn't attract media attention, that's worrying.

Aye. Ordinarily I'd have the money to buy it outright, but had a few unexpected bills and so I'll be going the finance route. The silver lining is that more money will be going to the club.

I cannae afford to buy mine outright this year, so will be taking out the finance option. I have never done this before. More money for the club.

Any idea when the kit will be unveiled? I thought we had been promised it would be early this year? From @FTOF's quote above, I'm guessing it may feature the Paisley Pattern: 'they will respect the club’s history and traditions along with those of Paisley, the sixth largest town in Scotland.'

I've heard Jake Carroll and Dean Cornelius are highly rated by Robinson. You heard it here first. 😉

For the same reason people don't say 'chips and fish'... Anyway, I partially agree with the opening poster, but also partially agree with @TPAFKA Jersey 2. Our main colours are black and white, with red being far less significant, but still an integral part of the club's identity. In any flag, red should be a minor constituent, comprising say 10% with black and white making up 45% each.

Okay...but I won't need any money in it, right? Seriously, we played Arbroath at home last time, so suuuurely it will be away this time? Who will you be supporting, given your love for your local team?
