Maybe Brophy's a Livi supporter

In recent times there has been a debate as to whether a player should go down if there's been some form of illegal contact. As we've seen in other games, the football pundits have said, 'had he gone down he would have won a penalty'. I think that our penalty was a wrong decision but, in the current culture of penalty box activity where players artistically manipulate the rules ie. 'dives', Erwin succeeded and he could be complimented. Had that draw yesterday saved us from relegation, Erwin would have been praised as a hero.

Goodwin has given the existing squad sufficient time to prove their worth and I agree with that. However, today, its time for some changes. I agree with the comments above that it is now time to allow Flynn a chance.

There is the danger of course, that the SPFL may standby their original decision for fear of being accused of, 'double standards' and penalise Celtic for their misdemeanour especially since Celtic are out of a potential league winning position. But, if they did, it would put the SPFL in a permanent watchdog predicament looking out for other clubs' transgressions and if other clubs did appeal the bureaucratic burden would be too excessive leading to a successful Saints appeal.
