  2. Well that was my first away game in a long time and it was magic! It wasn't pretty but who fookin cares 3points achieved! Cheesy and Goody were outstanding and wee Mallan is fab and Drayton - not a bad debut! How on earth can they not show that tackle on Osbourne tho - seriously - biggest talking point of the game????? Same reason they didn't show Arquin's actually should have been a penalty last week - cos ye cannae show St.Mirren being hard done by - happy to hound Goody last season tho! COYS

  9. My bruv asking who you are, sorry I couldn't even mind yer actual name haha. I wasn't aware of him working for them cos he had his own business for a long time after working for companies but he said he did all PPM's brickwork. I said you probably had something Saints about the house and the convo started from there!
  10. Defo drew for such a big job its good to get someone recommended. I've always been lucky with my brother in the trade - all tradesmen then come recommended. Hope you get something sorted soon
  11. Drew my brother is a builder but is now on the rigs, he still does jobs for folks who have been repeat customers over the years. He said that would be too much for him to do when home but recommends http://georgecuthbertbuilders.co.uk/ who I can vouch for as they roughcasted of house a few years back (lots of compliments on it and folk asking for his number) I would recommend too. and Alan Dow and Son just have a number for him 07855261105 Hope this helps. Tell them you got number from Garry Quinn
  12. haha aye..............and the rest! Though ye'll need to ask Dardo what age I am - cos he changes it aw the time. I'm sure when we oot celebrating my 40th he had me at 45! This might actually be my 50th and I don't know hehe
  13. short term guid - mibbe save this car-crash season. Long term - scary biscuits!
  14. Broony I am not commenting on whether he is guilty or not or comparing cases I am simply discussing him atm being a convicted rapist and whether I would be ok with a convicted rapist at my club. People are wrongly accused and convicted yes, but rape is a hard conviction to get. So basically what I am saying is Evans aside would I want a convicted rapist playing for saints - not on yer feckin life! I also think that some people may have a different view of 'he's done his time' if their lives had in anyway, directly or indirectly, been affected by this crime or if they had sat and spoke to victims perhaps.
  15. 1st bit - according to law yes but that doesn't mean that people will just forget it, there are numerous types of crimes for exp stealing money from a company you were working for - aye you could come out from that and folk would think oh he's a bad yin but he has done his time. Rape is a totally different case, it is a highly emotional crime. How would you feel if a convicted rapist started working beside a female family member or close friend? 2nd - why not footballers - football clubs may want to sign him but ultimately if the fans protest enough it isn't going to happen. We, as fans have a right to say no we aren't happy with that, we don't want a convicted rapist involved in our club.
  16. Spot on! Tonight was great - who wants a regular wedding when ye can have Adam Ant and Madonna for crying out loud! I LOVE Steve MacDonald - that's primarily why I watch it, tho he isn't in a good place right now BUT at his usual - hilarious - facial expressions top class and aye him and Eileen. Some sitcoms can't pull off the chemistry that Steve and Eileen have!
  17. If ye treat Corrie like a comedy, as I have done since starting watching it again a few years back, its fookin fab!
  18. saintargyll you make an interesting point BUT if he was to reoffend (assuming atm he is guilty) he would no matter where he was working, If he is at risk of reoffending (which I am assuming it is thought not hence the not doing the full sentence) where he works won't make a difference. It is a difficult one it really is - him remaining in football that is. As for playing at our club - NAW JUST NAW
  19. 5 pages and this post actually had me shaking my head in disbelief - 'the sort of rape' FECKIN SERIOUSLY??? Rape is rape!!! My view on Evans - copy and past from a FB status I made the other day - Ched Evans - atm he is a convicted rapist - should he be allowed to return to professional football - well that is his job though there are lots of jobs a convicted rapist wouldn't be able to return to - should this be included in those? It's a hard one as it's not his fault young fans look up to him and as I said it is his job and equally not his fault that it is a high profile job. As for why should he be allowed to make tons of money - but are there convicted rapists who return to non-public high paying jobs??? The most frustrating thing for me in all this is the opinions of some that 'he done his time' NO he didn't, BUT that is the system, the system should be dishing out longer sentences for this crime, 'we all make bad decisions' raping someone is NOT a bad decision - buying leather trousers - that's a bad decision! 'we all make mistakes' AGAIN raping someone is NOT a mistake it is a horrific act that can physically and/or mentally scar someone for life. Would I welcome him at the club - as a convicted rapist NO NO NO NO NO. Interestingly up until today he had shown no remorse, no apologies to the girl - but then claiming innocence he wouldn't so that is fair enough but today in a statement from the PFA he said "I do remain limited at present by what I can say due to the ongoing referral to the Criminal Cases Review Commission and whilst I continue to maintain my innocence, I wish to make it clear that I wholeheartedly apologise for the effects that night in Rhyl has had on many people, not least the woman concerned'. Now he is still maintaing his innocence but apologising - WHY??? If he is innocent then she deserves no apology I do not understand this - is it a 'oh feck another deal has fell through maybe I should show some remorse' type comment? Would I accept him at our club - as a convicted rapist - NO NO NO NO NO
  20. If we hadn't then we wouldn't be on here moaning abut Gollum - cos there would be no SMFC. I am not going to blame the officials - we were shite BUT they scored 2 penalties that NEVER were - that obv affects the outcome! agree 100% I was waiting on a string of yellow cards. All I have to say is Gollum - well done the Gollum show once again! 3 non penalties ya tit! McGennis or however ye spell it - you are a tit also! Cheesy - did fook all but as usual the haters couldn't wait to get on his back and abuse him! McLean - daft to get involved and by putting your head towards another player gave that wee alien all he needed to red ye. All in a right shite day in the cold.
  21. I have to agree.....I think its at risk of being off I NEED ME SOME FITBA!!! Come on rain fook off
