I would be happy with this guy. DVZ is a great and loyal servant to the club but I do not rate him for the holding role in midfield. He holds back too much, plays too deep with poor distribution IMHO. DVZ as a back four squad player for another season (or even right midfield) but not central midfield.

Maybe we should all take video cameras to games and send clips to Lunny of all the tossers having a go at Goody to get him sent off. It worked for Dundee Utd.

Defensively Mair was no worse nor better than what we currently have but his distribution was the best out of the three. Whoever comes in as a replacement has to be better than what we have and go straight into the team.

I wasn't there so can only relate what I heard on the radio and some posts from guys who were at the game. So far we have played him as a striker with Steven Thompson being the target man. To mind mind Campbell doesnt have the physique for that position at the moment being easily pushed off the ball. To-day he was played wider and the radio commentry described him as a flying machine causing great problems to the Hibs defence scoring a cracking goal. Campbell playing wide also allows McGowan to play a lot further forward giving us a far more effective strikeforce. Can we keep Campbell? Edit: spelling

I wish Lee all the best. Personally I thought he should play most weeks as his distribution is the best of the usual suspects for central defence. He handles himself with dignity and seems a really decent bloke. Am sorry it didnt work out between him and Danny.

I believe Stevenson is on a very good wage and one of the highest paid players. He is also 29, at the peak of his career playing regular football and although he has had a recent injury he has been mostly injury free during his career. A valuable commodity. I believe Hearts have now accepted the maths that they are going down so what do they need a Ryan Stevenson for when they can punt him and save a fortune on wages and replace him with Skacel? Skacel has played 5 games in the last year, is coming up for 35 and will probably be a lot cheaper than Stevenson. Skacel will probably be more interested in coaching as his career is finishing whereas Stevenson still has a lot to play for. And with Brown now gone Skacel can take on extra coaching duties. I think Skacel would also be a better role model for the youngsters than Stevenson and has a lot more experience of the game. Makes great sense to me to punt Stevenson and bring in Skacel.

Probably willing to let Stevenson go as he is a high earner at Hearts and Skacel would be a cheaper replacement as he has only played 5 games in the last 12 months. His experience would be beneficial to Hearts' youngsters but Stevenson is a far more useful player just now. I would be very happy with signing Stevenson.

12 starts since 2012 - 4 for Bury and 8 for the Dons. But we are now not in a position to be fussy.

According to Sportsound he is considering an offer from some Romanian team.

Apparently he is not physically fit nor match fit and training with Dundee Utd with a view to resigning for them. I would reckon anyone we sign will have to go straight into the team.
