Well, I’m no employment lawyer (like Lookatme) but if this ends up being a compromise agreement then I’d guess the real story won’t be told by either party so saying nothing is probably best.

First of all you claimed the Club was changing the terms of the current arrangement which, of course, you have no knowledge of so that is completely made up. Then you state the Chairman was “all over” the media “pressuring” Kearney to move his family over. In the interview Scott did with STV he simply stated his view that “he’d like to think OK was settled and in the long term he’d move over” whilst acknowledging it was “hard for him” as he has a “wonderful life back home”. That’s hardly pressuring him IMO so, again, you’ve made that up. That’s two fabricated stories out of two and you claim to be a “specialist” in employment law?🤣

How do you know this is what has caused the issue? Have I missed a quote from someone? It seems to me that Robert Greive felt the issue lay at Kearney’s door by wanting to change the current arrangement. That’s as much as we have to go on. I understand the point that if results are good then who cares but it seems likely that the more time he’s away from the club something will suffer. Why take that chance? In terms of his achievements I wouldn’t say he’s been great. He’s been decent given the circumstances. If, and it’s a big if, things have gone down the way the two journos have described them he’s taking the piss IMO and it would seem obvious that something has been going on for some time hence Coleraine still not having a new man in place. Mate, bearing in mind this is a Sun story, if what’s in it is true then I do have some sympathy with the Chairman. It looks like had an agreement with OK re commuting home twice a week and now he wants to turn that into a daily thing? Do you think we’d have given him the gig in the first place if he’d asked for that? Being Manager of a football club is about more than training and match days I’d imagine. Off the top of my head there will be time required for tactical discussions with his back room team, watching other teams play to get a sense of opponents or even scout new players and even just managing the well being of his squad throughout the season and there must be more. I’m sure there will be examples of people doing this but I just don’t think it works and the club have every right to question that. If that’s led to a falling out with his boss then there only going to be one winner. Not sure why compo should be on the table. He should get to his f**king work as per the agreement or suffer the fate anyone else trying to pull those in another walk of life would. IF this story is true.[emoji85]

Something has clearly changed over the last week or so and nobody has a f**king clue what that is. I find it hard to believe that Scott and Fitzy suddenly decided the arrangement from last year wasn’t good enough, thereby throwing the club into chaos so close the start of the season again. So, IMO, either there was an agreement that OK would relocate or he’s looking to change the terms of the agreement and they don’t fancy that. I’m giving Scott and Fitzy the benefit of the doubt on this one for the time being but if this is of their own doing and somehow costs us money and, worse still, holds us back from building a proper squad then questions will need to be asked about how they are running things as this looks like a real clusterf**k.

Irrespective of how this plays out tomorrow there are going to be a few ITK fannies with egg on their face.

FFS it’s a football strip and certainly not even close to some of the pish efforts in recent memory. My first thought the day they unveiled that pinstripe effort with yellow bits was “f**k, that’s a relegation kit”. My first reaction today was “that looks like the Juve kit”, which is pretty cool.

None this season. He’s not durable enough to play every week but he’s a great defender who would be an asset on and off the park next season. Definitely worth a one year deal and can’t imagine he’d be difficult to deal with.

Over the course of our last 15 games we won 6, drew 6 and lost 3. That suggests that once Oran got his own guys in and integrated into the team we were decent. We need to replace the loanees with a wee bit of quality and some pace but the nucleus of a capable side is there.

Don’t think Kearney has got much wrong in recent months but the starting line up and formation yesterday wasn’t exactly geared to go and win the game IMO. Could’ve rectified that when they went down to 10 and Lyons went off injured but decided to put Hodson on and then 20 mins later pulls off the left back to play a right footed player there? Still, we did what we had to and big Cooke surely pushed himself into the managers thoughts for Tannadice even if he was aided and abetted by their goalie. Our form has been good of late and we should go into these two games confident but not cocky. I believe we’re the better side and expect us to come through but the atmosphere will be white hot on Thursday and that’ll be something we’ve not really experienced yet.

I don’t think there’s been much wrong with the spirit over the last couple of months. If it was down to spirit I think we’d be a stick on to stay up. Sadly, it also comes down ability and we still have one or two that are just not up to this standard week in week out. Hopefully the others can get them across the line.

Unless you can promise Lookatme is going drop another of his pearlers then yes, as I believe we’ve peaked right there.
