I would be fairly certain that the piece you are quoting was prepared before the markets (worldwide) reacted to this government's policies. It was reported today on the BBC News Channel (Freeview 231) that pension providers are fearing for their existence after the market movements in the last 48 hours. That's not MY view, that's what pension providers are saying. Of course, there's always Tory propaganda that will contradict what is actually happening out there in the real world. 😝

Where have you "read" that pensions aren't being negatively affected, FS ? Share prices slumping, bond markets dipping, and according to BBC Business News reports pensions providers are feeling jeapordised (panicked ?) by the uncertainty in the markets. And where are the prominent Scottish Tories hiding while this economic turmoil is happening ? I don't recall seeing any of them on tv recently supporting the new government's policies. Let's hear their thoughts. Alister Jack ? Douglas Ross ? Ruth Davidson ? What do you have to say about the crisis ?

The OP claims to be 'in the know', and perhaps this is the case. Some / many of these claims may be valid, I couldn't comment as I'm not privy to any insider info. However the post is screaming out panic and paranoia. Can things really be that bad, so ludicrously out of control ? Why would Kibble (deliberately ?) sabotage St Mirren's financial stability ? What would they gain from bankrupting the club ? Do they have an endgame that relies on the club imploding ? As I've said, I know nothing. But can the OP answer any of these questions ?

Unquestionably Prince Andrew is a grade 1 walloper. He has lived his life as a leech, seeking out freebies from all and sundry. He has been a drain on the British taxpayer for virtually all of his adult life. An unpleasant, rude and ungrateful individual. He might be an odious creep and he certainly has kept some extremely dubious friendships. He might (by US law) even be a suspected paedophile. However, as things stand, he is not a convicted criminal. No accusations against him have been proven in a court of law anywhere in the world. On this basis, I would argue that he is entitled to march behind his mother's coffin with dignity, and without being subjected to libellous abuse from a lout in the crowd. This crowd had gathered to pay their respects to the Queen and not to listen to some opinionated arsewipe with a poor sense of timing. I am not a Royalist. I respect everyone's right to free speech. But I also respect the right of those who wish to pay their last respects to a monarch who has reigned for 70 years with some dignity.
