I'd like to think so but I don't see it happening. The BOD have done a brilliant job for us but they have to admit they've f**ked up royally on this one. We had a real opportunity to have a fresh start. New ideas, new players and above all a new manager with a clear direction. What we've been left with is the cheap option with a manager that clearly doesn't know how to spot a player, especially a striker. This has been coming and the BOD have no one to blame but themselves.

There is such a general malaise around the club just now and you can see that on the park most weeks. Is it due to the BOD? Are they selling or are they not? This must resonate down to the players and management staff and with that you can see that the performances are just not there. I happen to believe that we have a good squad of players but for whatever reason our manager is incapable of getting them playing the way players of their talent should. Something has to change and change quickly or else we will be for the drop.

A lot has already been said. Not a failure in the team today. Carey was superb and Thommo?, well what can you say? A true St. Mirren fan who is living the dream that the majority of us have or had. Special mention to the fans today though. Every single one of us played our part. The support was there for the full game and the noise generated for 4500 fans was special. A proud day to be a Buddie.
