The Victor/Archibald method didn’t work well either... I guess it’s about being smart with the budget, will be a test of Oran’s skills and his ability to step up to this level.

I wouldn’t support us paying any player that amount if it’s grossly out of sync with the rest of the squad. I’d rather 2 or 3 players than a ‘Big Time Charlie’.

Pretty sure Oran said he wanted a midfield four “with legs”. Adam has legs, unfortunately they are attached a chunky arse. Can’t see it happening.

One will be in this week I’d hope. Would expect another 2-3 early next week...

Nope. Was never happy with Stubbs and quite a few on here weren’t. He’d failed miserably in his previous job, and always felt he should have had Hibs promoted given the squad. anyway, the c**t is gone. More concerned with the future now.

Definitely up there. The two of them will definitely feature in the top five worst defenders in the last 30 years. Can only think of the diddy defenders signed at the end of the Hendrie era (Fellner & Dietrich?) as being worse centre backs. Probably more there, but we’ve always done not too bad in that position.

Yeah, you could have a point, particularly given that one of the others was MacKenzie. A quick social media search shows Heaton posting in a gym in Leyland....hardly where he needs to be if part of the squad.

Cooke, Magennis and a few others were sat in front of me yesterday. Heaton nowhere to be seen...think he’ll be away.

Agreed that we seemed to go backwards a fair bit yesterday, but I think that’s largely to do with the fact that the Jonnies sat pretty deep with two banks of four. We just don’t have the pace, or little guile to break that down. While Erhahon has played well, he doesn’t offer much in an attacking sense from the left. We are desperate for some width.

With no Cooke, there was little option to change things up top. You can get the frustration on this coming from the manager, going by his post match comments.

He was poor for Thistle across the last year and was heavily criticised by their fans. Wouldn’t be overly excited by the signing.

I wouldn’t say this forum is representative of the support. For all that 20 people hound them on here, it say way more are willing to support them. At least, that’s what I hope!
