  1. If the rumours that he's dislocated his kneecap are true then he'll be out for the rest of the season, could be a year or more if he's also done his ligaments. I had the same injury and while it looks (and feels) horrific at the time, once the kneecap pops back in its just a case of building up strength in the knee again (if you haven't done the ligaments), I was back playing in about 7 months and thats obviously without the level of proper rehab that Davis will have. Hopefully it's not a bad one and we can get him back for next season as he's been brilliant since coming in.
  2. I think you need to look up what certainty means.
  3. What about all the fans who turned up and paid £20 to see their team in a Scottish Cup quarter final.. I'm sure they would have been just fine with us fielding a reserve team and taking a hiding.
  4. Raith announced the attendence of 2100 with 800 away fans.. think they're doing a Celtic because there is no chance there were 1300 Raith fans there.
  5. Just seen the highlights, what the hell is McKenzie doing at the 1st goal.. too busy claiming for offside to actually defend the cross and basically leaves Hardie with a free header.
  6. Frustrating night last night, great travelling support and made a lot of noise right up until the 2nd goal. Don't think the players effort can be questioned but no-one played particularly well and for all the possession we had, especially first half, we struggled to pass the ball out of our defence and struggled to string any passes together. It's the first time I've seen McGinn give the ball away more than once or twice in a game. Morgan just wasn't in it at all thought he should have been hooked, and Sutton was getting marked (wrestled) out of the game by their CBs and getting nothing from the ref. Raith aren't a good team and I can't see this being a turning point for them, they got the breaks and took their chances so they deserved the points but think they'll still be down in the mix for 9th or 10th come the end of the season. Don't have a clue what was going through Obriens mind for the 2nd one.. McGinn was in about 15 yards of space in the middle asking for ball to be thrown out and Obrien just seemed to ignore him then make an arse of it. He came across and apologised to the fans at the end, mistakes happen and he's still the best keeper we've had this season so hopefully he'll bounce back. McGinn came over at the end aswell and tried to gee up what was left of the crowd and got a bit of applause and encouragement but it was hard to stay positive after that result.
  7. There's positive and there's unrealistic.. should take more than 500 though and we'll sound like 1000
  8. Think we'll take a decent crowd through but there's no way we can take 1000 on a wednesday night.
  9. £15 is decent. Anyone know wheres easiest to park near the ground? Never driven up there before.
  10. Assuming this is pay at the gate? Can't see it anywhere on the fishal website.
  11. I've worked with quite a few people with PHDs in engineeering and usually they are hopeless at their jobs because they have shite social skills, hence why they stayed at uni as long as possible for an easy life rather than go get a job in the field. Seems like your a good example of this. Anyhoo, Stephen Mcginn.. what a guy.
  12. Where did we find Stellios? He hadn't played in Britain until now as far as I know.
  13. Another 6 pointer, if we win we're 3 points behind them with a game in hand and suddenly it seems much more do-able to avoid the relegation spots altogether.
  14. We've scored just after half time 2 games in a row aswell, good to see us catching teams cold rather than the other way round.
  15. Barnsley will be regretting letting the deal fall through if they have watched his last few games, their loss is our gain.
  16. What a performance, the team were brilliant to a man, won every 50/50 didn't give hibs a second on the ball and forced them to stick 2 big guys up front and ping long balls at them for the last 20 minutes. Could easily give McGinn MOTM for every game he's started since returning but Stelios was unbelievable tonight. Not just the goals, he was everywhere.. winning every tackle and cutting out every ball played down his side, he was taking the ball off of Morgans foot to run down the wing at 2-0 up with 10 minutes to go. Special mention to Cammy Smith who's stood out last night and against Ayr, and Maggennis who was also brilliant .. he's really stepped up since McAllister left. How O'Brien managed to make that double save I have no idea.. seemed like 2 tap ins.
  17. Wonder if you can get odds on Stephen McGinn to nutmeg his wee brother over 1.5 times tonight.
  18. Why would they do that? It was Raiths own fault, no rules were broken.. zero chance of them replaying it.
  19. A draw or a Raith win ideally on Tuesday night but if Ayr win it isn't the end of the world as it just means we're chasing down 8th rather than just 9th.
  20. Watched back Divs periscope on twitter and skipped to the goals, realised I was standing just infront of Div and spotted myself jumping about daft after the first goal
  21. Great performance, great support, great day out. Not celebrated goals like that in a while, after playing well in the first half but not scoring it was sheer relief when Sutton slotted that in. Thought Mallan and Mcginn spreading the ball about were brilliant, Smith driving forward every time he got the ball, defence was solid and we broke quickly which lead to both goals. Play like that on Wednesday and there’s no reason we can’t take something from Hibs.
  22. I'd play Cammy Smith over Loy, but I think we need Storrie to play and let Mallan play further up the field.
  23. If we do finish in 9th, we'll have to come through a 2 legged playoff semi final and then 2 legged final unlike the premiership playoff where the team from the premiership go straight into the final.
