  1. On the contrary. Any civilized society should be condemning the atrocious, vindictive, evil, mass murder of innocent people anywhere in the world. And I think you might find it difficult to find Palestine now.
  2. As I said. I knew he did it for celtic. I just had it on the back of my mind he did the same with us. I just wanted to know if I'm mixing fact with fiction.
  3. I seem to recall him throwing the ball into his own net. I am probably misremembering but I know he did it with celtic. Am I wrong in thinking he did it with us as well? Great keeper nonetheless. RIP Dennis.
  4. Why should an in-law's offences reflect on any other member of the family? This headline really does smacks of "SNP bad" even when only by association that he had no control over. The unionist media are definitely running scared of any potential SNP resurgence.
  5. I really do agree that the SNP led coalition has been a failure on a monumental scale. That is without doubt. They have been guilty of allowing the tail to wag the dog just so they can ensure the greens allow them to claim a majority for independence. An unnecessary step IMO as the greens would vote for the majority of the policies the SNP on their own would propose while not having to push through the marginal stuff. The ferries are a different kettle of fish. It is almost always the case that, when any of our governments get involved with this sort of thing it spirals. Just look at HS2 fiasco for reference. That being said. In this election it is NOT a vote simply for the SNP. It's far more important. I really believe we can garnish support by ensuring we don't allow the unionist to claim the narrative of "SNP bad" but instead ensure the message that a vote for SNP is a vote for self rule and, ultimately, a vote to disband the SNP. It's to choose autonomy. A vote for an independent Scotland, free from the more and more right wing alternative, no matter which of the major parties prevail.
  6. Especially when said "chaperone" is an unelected, failed ex PM.
  7. In fairness. Someone saw enough in him to pay a hefty fee. Let's hope it wasn't the tea lady down London Road.
  8. On the contrary. You're equating SNP support, which will bounce back as the truth of labour's real message of more tory cuts and no real benefit for the lower paid in society emerges, with the level of support for a free Scotland. The emperor's new clothes will be hung out to dry. Even with the smear campaigns, the level of support for independence remains at roughly the same level as before. Flitting between high 40s and low 50s. I fully expect that to tilt toward the top end soon.
  9. Don't talk sh!te. More SNP bad from those afraid of independence.
  10. Turned over to watch the Arsenal, Liverpool game and I'm amazed that Arsenal are wearing white tops with white numbers, (Black outline), and no names on the shirt. I thought the numbers were supposed to be very clear. And why no names? Was it mentioned in the pre match commentary?
  11. Already got our tickets. Hopefully see a couple of new signings too.
  12. Do RC get extra money for the coverage? If not I'm sure they'll be unhappy, as what little away support that may have travelled will almost certainly be impacted. by this decision.
  13. If you are incapable of reading more than one part of a post, or decide not to, to allow you to use a part of a whole statement out of context, that's on you. Your lack of intellect knows no limits.
  14. Nonsense. It was my opinion. Read what I said FFS. I started that statement with "Maybe".Or do I have to explain that I DIDN'T ask the manager? ETA I also followed up with "IF he thinks none of our young players will make the grade " Now please behave. That statement was my opinion just as your statement is NOT fact but simply your OPINION. .We simply differ in our opinion so please refrain from deciding what I think.
  15. I disagree. I think he's handled Jamieson very badly. Flitting him on and out for no apparent reason when the lad did ok is, for me, more likely to demoralise and demotivate the player. And I'm NOT sharing my "wisdom". Like most on here, I'm merely giving my opinion which you seem to decry by giving your own words of "wisdom".. Or is that not allowed in your small world?
  16. Maybe it's more to do with a lack of trust that the lads can't replicate what they show in training. That's more to do with the manager's lack of belief than the ability of the boys in question. IF he thinks none of our young players will make the grade then something is very wrong with this supposedly elite academy. These lads will NEVER get real game time while the manager lives in fear of playing them. Even when they do well they are, in the main, dropped back to the bench or even out of the squad. We are a club that needs to be bringing youth through and selling them on.
  17. So now the rangers want to pick which official is involved in their games. "Rangers request Willie Collum 'not involved in their matches going forward' after SFA VAR audio row". I suppose they want to shake hands first before deciding whether the referee can be in the middle. Or maybe a quiet word to find out if they would award a penalty to the opposition when, inevitably, Gouldson decides he's the second keeper? They seem to have forgotten about those penalties that weren't given. I guess we should all decide which referees we all want to officiate in all our games too. They really do think their special and. given the fact they were allowed to take a place in the professional league when they were newly born, I suppose the powers that be gave them a rod to whip them with. If the SFA had any balls they would hammer the rangers for bringing the game into disrepute. Dock them 20 points and fine them £500,000 I say.
  18. I thought so too. But, strangely, I had three of the green mobs' fans and one from the other side of the divide disagreeing with that opinion.
  19. The problem ATM is that, even when we have youngsters doing well in the academy, our first team management team are either not interested in playing them or they don't trust the lads to make the step up. I don't think losing one youth coach is going to waive that mistrust.
  20. No wonder. For whatever reason he didn't get a real chance in the team this season
  21. I hope so too but, I agree, It's more likely to continue on its current trajectory. May the madness desist.
  22. Sure was. Answer to both statements. If it is an excuse I was going through quite a list to acknowledge the passing of another year. Once again. Type in haste, ...........
  23. And so 2023 ends. (For Saints, on a happy note too). HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL ON THE FORUM. AND I DO MEAN ALL!
