  1. Got the fish supper for £5, 1 large fish that was excellent quality. Cooked fresh as you waited. Both our suppers. Fish was Ok..ish but the chips were such that we threw most of them away. Maybe we were unlucky.
  2. My wife and I went for a run in the car a few weeks ago so we took advantage of their opening promotion and, I must admit, I wasn't impressed with the quality of the food. I don't think I'd rush to pay dull price
  3. Is that not the main stand to the right?
  4. Rugby Park? Taken from the opposite side from where we sit.
  5. This is very unsaint mirren like. We seem to have an identity and the players definitely look like they'll run through a brick wall for the management team. I look at every other team in this league and, though we will definitely drop points, given the marked improvement in our away form. I will go to every game knowing we could get a result. Our home form is what got us the top six berth so I'll go for a continuation of this. 3-1 with O'Hara and Kiltie on the scoresheet. Hoping young Nahmani comes on and adds to his tally. (Though it would be just as nice if they were all scored by strikers).
  6. OK. I understand that but he definitely would have had a lot of help and he, given the alternative, didn't need any extra motivation. It still must have taken hard work so, well done Jonah.
  7. I would "doff my cap" if he was fit and doing well but still signed an extension. As it is, signing a new contract was a no brainer. It gives him security.
  8. A pity. I would have liked it to be a bit bigger. The eyes aren't what they used to be.
  9. My problem isn't the driving. It's more the hassle of parking. My grandson has school the next day so I just want it to be as relaxed as possible. If need be I'll drive and either get there really early and have dinner in Edinburgh or try to park where the buses park up. If it had been a weekend game I'd have taken a chance on Sainsbury's car park. As an aside. IF I do need to drive. Any idea of the best chance of getting parked? The last time I drove to Hibs was more than ten years ago.
  10. Anyone know if there are any buses with a couple of seats left? The usual ones seem full.
  11. The lads probably have seats at other parts of the stand but congregate at W7 on match days.
  12. I actually think the highlights showed us putting in more dangerous crosses. Apart from that it didn't look like we were hanging on. Sure. It made it appear that Motherwell had more of the ball but that is typical of an SR team. I think the highlights mirrored the fact that they didn't really trouble us to any great extent.
  13. It never fails to amaze me when historical rape allegations take over the front pages of our media. It shows the depths we, as a nation have, fallen to. I've never found Brand the least bit funny but IF, and it is if, he is guilty of the charges placed on him then, WHEN it is proven, for me, that is when it is news, if it ever should be headline.
  14. As is her right. I'm glad she has that option. Not for her sake as I personally doubt the verdict will change but a right of appeal must be part of our legal system.
  15. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. Desperate indeed. But not from me. Best you go to bed and think before you type yourself out of the corner and into ever decreasing circles. ETA. To save your blushes this will be my last comment on your previous inputs into this topic , sorry thread. 🙃
  16. Yet another post after you "promised" the one I quoted was your last "on this topic". Your words. "THAT’S why I post on the topic. I do promise it will be my last though". And, I'm sorry but, even in this "non" post, you appear almost vitriolic. Your seethe is almost tangible. I'm only glad you can laugh at yourself. ETA IF the promise was about the rangers I' M SURE THE WORD WOULD HAVE BEEN "SUBJECT" NOT "TOPIC". Here to help.
  17. FIVE question marks in the first real part of your reply. I think that MAY indicate venom. Your histrionics defy your answers. You quite clearly ARE concerned or you wouldn't answer. Again and again after saying this would be your last input on the topic. And you mistake being, in this instance, a champion of the truth for obsession but don't let that worry you. I will ALWAYS call out ANYONE who tries to suggest that this entity IS the real rangers. Finally. Enlighten me. Are you suggesting I'm obsessed by newco or the dead rangers. ETA. Why is it so concerning for you? Have I told any lies in my statements?
  18. Added to what I said in the previous post. I really do think having to create multiple accounts on opposition websites probably puts many off. I know there are financial reasons for this online process but some people just don't fell comfortable constantly giving out their card details during a season. I'm sure something could be done to go through their Saints account to purchase away tickets. It's just another barrier in the fight to get bums on seats.
  19. I think the international break has put a slight halt to the momentum that was building. Let's hope for a flurry in the next couple of days. At least to get over the thousand mark.
  20. Quite obviously you DO care or , for one, you wouldn't assume I was referring to you and, two, you wouldn't bother replying with such venom. It doesn't "eat me up", but I care because there are those who allow a section of the footballing community to benefit from a lie on the back of many people, including taxpayers, including, I assume, you. This new entity spends millions while pretending to be an entity that STOLE millions. If they want to be classed as the same entity then pay back what they would then owe. That's why I will NEVER fall silent when others spout their p!sh about club/company. ETA. I was actually replying to a post in a topic. Or is that not allowed?
  21. Delusion is also a problem. Same club my erse. As I posted on another thread an English based, pro rangers paper said it right. "Ten of the 12 then SPL clubs essentially voted to remove the Ibrox side from the top tier back in the summer of 2012, (NO THEY DIDN'T. Newco were NEVER in the top tier). - with Kilmarnock abstaining and Oldco Rangers themselves voting for a motion which would have allowed newco Rangers to take over their spot in the top tier."
  22. I'd like to educate the legend that is Sir Alex Ferguson From the article, the truth is hidden in the detail. "Ten of the 12 then SPL clubs essentially voted to remove the Ibrox side from the top tier back in the summer of 2012 NO they didn't. Newco were NEVER in the top tier. - with Kilmarnock abstaining and oldco Rangers themselves voting for a motion which would have allowed newco Rangers to take over their spot in the top tier". Oldco, the REAL Rangers, now dead. You know, the one that HAD 54 titles, were part of the vote to try to shoehorn Newco, the imitation Rangers INTO the top league for the first time. "The SFL then voted to re-admit, WRONG!, the Ibrox men at the bottom level as they embarked on their journey back through the divisions". Newco, you know, the one who NOW has ONE title, were allowed to ENTER the bottom tier, even though they didn't have all the credentials to do so. And Ferguson - speaking in a major interview for Rangers TV - has hailed the Ibrox fans for "keeping their dignity". Dignity MY ARSE. They were threatening clubs left, right and centre because their fans didn't follow,... follow, their lies. He reckons they could easily have punished teams who voted them out by saying "well I'm not going there". OH I WISH! I do hope this finally educates the idiots on here who still attempt to perpetuate the myth and defend the indefensible.
