  1. Is St Mirren radio a few minutes behind? Still 0-1 on there
  2. In work with St Mirren radio on. Love that I don't have to miss the game entirely
  3. Always thought he looked more natural as a wide midfielder, but yeah officially you're right. In terms of squad depth, think those are the areas we need to strengthen. Looking better though!
  4. Keepers: Langfield Defenders: Naismith Irvine Watson Webster Baird Kelly Cuddihy Midfielders: Goodwin Carswell Agnew Gallagher Cooper Howieson McMullan Gow Quinn Cooper Morgan Mallan Strikers: Shankland Clarkson Thompson Seems like we're very heavy on midfielders, lack a sub keeper if Langfield gets injured. Could do with getting rid of Gow / McMullan.. but bringing in a keeper, 1 more striker and a centre half imo.
  5. He and Shankland are good mates apparently. Could be a plus if we can get them combining. Some of the best strike forces are players that know each other well. Thommo is done so needs to be replaced, glad Rae seems to realise this.
  6. Here lies the problem. If you're going to a St Mirren match as a "customer", yer doing it wrong. Was a big opportunity for our team to make up some much needed points on our rivals. Tried our best to get the game on, failed. A few folk had a snowball fight and the local pubs made some extra cash. Who cares? Bring on Hibs
  7. Some folk really are desperate to have a pop at the club. It snowed, they gave the game every chance to go ahead. Well done to everyone who made an effort to get it on!
  8. We had Fotheringham on trial but didn't take him. Livi did...
  9. Give them the south and north. We pack out the main and west.
  10. They've tried something a bit different and got some positive results. Thistle tickets especially have been selling like hot cakes. If Tesco had an offer on for half price jaffa cakes - you've missed that offer, and have to pay full price, who's fault is it? Not everyone has money, that's a given, but you can't blame a company for pricing a product how they see fit. If you book a holiday early, it's usually cheaper - unless you get a last minute deal. If you're buying something and don't get the best deal due to your own timing of purchase, it's no ones fault but your own.
  11. Bit my tongue on this for a while, but it really frustrates me that certain people on this forum are constantly moaning about how the club has priced this fixture. You've had WEEKS to buy tickets at a reduced price. If you've waited untill kick off to buy one, tough tittie. It's yer ain fault! I've got my ticket and will be there cheering on the team. Shull, I know you've got your own style of posting on here, but the *pretending to be offended about anything related to money*, act.. is really a bit dull and doesn't contribute much to a discussion. Which is a shame as occasionally you make some great posts.
  12. Was also down earlier. Quite a large number buying tickets today, should be a decent crowd
  13. Think there will be a huge crowd for this. Partick fan in my work says he reckons it will be their biggest travelling support of the season
  14. Might cost a few quid, ditch that idea
  15. I thought Drury was alright. Wasn't he top scorer? Albeit in a season of shite
  16. He answered someone on twitter earlier that he's considering options and St Mirren are one of them. Sounds promising.
  17. I think it will increase, if anything. A few of my mates fancying it now that it's friday (neutrals)
  18. Doing a great job lads. Love listening on the fly in work when I miss a game! Banter is good and pleasingly biased towards the Saints. Keep it up!
  19. The stand is rarely full tbf, its not crazy to suggest that people can sit at, or very close to their preferred position every home game. If you really want that perfect seat, get down early.
  20. Myself and a few other guys drafted up some proposals a while back regarding this, but it never really took off. The “singing section” trial worked to an extent, but we didn't have the numbers required to take it forward. The overall consensus was that you can’t manufacture an atmosphere – it must happen organically. Many supporters don’t want to be labelled as part of a singing section. (It does sound a bit shite tbf) That being said, the suggestion of an unallocated section (not labelled as a singing section) is not the worst idea in the world. Our latest idea was similar - something along the lines of "Away Support Home". Encouraging more vociferous/vocal fans to stand together at home games, like we do away from home. Would be happy to take the proposals we had to the fans council/club – if others are genuinely keen on the idea.
  21. What a rampant trolling cock goblin you are
