JC87 Posted September 7, 2007 Report Posted September 7, 2007 Excellent track from KoL's 'Because Of The Times'. Black Thumbnail and Knocked Up are fine songs too. It's a brilliant album Quote

Howard Hughes in BlueSuedeShoes Posted September 10, 2007 Report Posted September 10, 2007 No, but strangely enough I plan to visit HMV this afternoon. Have you heard any of the new album? Only read reviews for it at the weekend. Four star stuff. He's now living in New York which puts a different slant on his songs but no less essential, or so I understand. Quote

Mrs SFS Posted September 10, 2007 Report Posted September 10, 2007 Which one; missus number 6 or missus number 7? Sorry, I don't know. The current Mrs Earle, apparently... Steve Earle has reached age 52 sounding better than ever and with his writing chops in fine form. Marriage to Allison Moorer and their move to New York's Greenwich Village seem to have energized him. I could do with some of that energizing. Quote
