ScotstounSaint
Got a laugh at some of the mince being spouted here. He was head and shoulders above any player currently at Saints bar ThommoGod.

Exactly, Esmael Goncalves = St Mirren Legend. End of discussion! He probably was better than most of the current shambles. He was ok. Legend is a much abused and overused term. You should have a banter with the OPer of the 'legend' Junior Mendes thread.
Dare
Sometimes a player comes in and just clicks with a club - that was Isma for us. Looking back would we have won that league cup semi-final without him ...... I doubt it. He gave us a lift at exactly the time we needed it and in St Mirren folklore I'm pretty comfortable with classing him as a legend. God in comparison to what we have now he is Messi & Ronaldo rolled into one !
Griff
Like Gerry Baker and Ian Ferguson in previous cup winning teams , he had a fantastic impact in a short period of time . In some games looked supurb , in other games he didn,t look interested , But definitely a St Mirren legend
Kemp
Of course he would be a great addition to OUR squad now. However, being better than James Marwood and Callum Ball would give you a decent shot at playing for Arthurlie...not walking in to the Champions League! A decent player, and could develop in to a great one who could play for one of Portugal's top clubs, sure. However he did play in the SPL for a good while and did not exactly set it alight. OP has a bit of a man crush IMHO.
