I was in that place many a time,Shull. My first wife was from Penilee and lived very near there. Part of it at least was a kind of general store that stayed open quite late. I don't think I remember it being a Chinese back then but it might have been. My ex and her sisters always called it the White House.

The Chinese has just been built , not opened yet.

The Chippy was burnt down many years ago.
