antrin Posted September 25, 2019 Report Posted September 25, 2019 (edited) The glamour of the Scottish cup! THIS is something that I WOULD watch on tv or keep the curtains open for - if it was in my backyaird. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49803144 However, I’d really prefer it to have been the Cliftonhill fixture... faraway saint Posted September 25, 2019 Report Posted September 25, 2019 BBC Scotland deserve some credit. I've watched quite a few programmes since it appeared and their coverage of Scottish football is to be supported. Quote
Kemp Posted September 25, 2019 Report Posted September 25, 2019 Yep, love the early rounds of the Scottish Cup. Scottish football fans love to moan about everything, but if it wasn't for the BBC where would we be? Listening to Super Scoreboard? No thanks. One thing I don't like is moving games with a long away trip to a Friday night. I even felt sorry for Morton fans with their away fixture in Inverness moved to a Friday. Basically means no away support and a good Saturday day out gone form the fixture card. Quote
Cornwall_Saint Posted September 25, 2019 Report Posted September 25, 2019 Auchinleck v Cove would have been a cracker for TV, but Talbot were already on TV for the First Round so I’m guessing that’s why they’ve avoided that one. It is great to see these games being covered though - our lower league coverage is abysmal and I would love to see more of it on tv. Quote
