Well where are we after the LC opening phase?
Obviously the team is still a WIP but we're not alone in that and at least we qualified for the last 16. I expect the team to be significantly different by the time the transfer window closes on Sep 3.
For me the major disappointment was the manner in which we lost, I felt we shaded the game up till the triple substitution on 80mins, Charlie Mulgrew on commentary was praising us for bringing on two Academy players when what we needed was a couple of bruisers. Rival teams will have looked at the last 14mins of the game and been rubbing their hands with glee, we've nailed our tactics to the mast and looked unable to mix it up a bit.
Less dogma more chutzpah!
