It does seem overly complicated though. I ordered Hearts tickets and the semi final tickets at the same time one was instantly delivered one took until this morning. For a country whose football teams need (with some exceptions who get UEFA money just for being the best of a bad bunch) all the money they can get, surely some games like this could still be a combination of buying tickets up front and pay at the gate unless there are concerns about selling out which is not the case for this game .
They apparently have the same platform as Hampden and Ticketmaster therefore the tickets are purchased more directly and, I'd assume, in the app within minutes. SMFC ticket office are apparently uploading all sales manually to the platform after they have been purchased on our own platform and from there they go to the fans via the Hampden app
As I said, surely we could have contracted to use Motherwell's platform as away fans. Ticketmaster would still get their cut and even if there were a few fans who were put off by the process at least it would have been easier for us.
