Funny, terrible refereeing decisions against Morocco probably led to his decision.  A draw, at least, we're through and looking forward to the knock out stages.  The monkey of his back but still wouldn't have bern enough for some who are entrenched in their view.

I agree, probably best for Clarke, however there is a deeper malaise in the quality of the players available and the individual errors. Interesting thing on the BBC website from Ian Wright about the Scottish TV deal compared to Norway and the difficulty in keeping young talent in Scotland. I know it is highly unlikely to happen but perhaps now is the time to reconsider the distribution of prize money and TV money to allow clubs, like Saints, to be able to nurture and keep youngsters.
