I was just about to post about this as I watched the full highlights after my last post.  Another refereeing decision that's cost a team, deserved or not, a place in the next round. (Scotland for starters) 

Agreed, well off a traditional German team. Not resilient enough. Goal chalked off was a travesty to football. 

It was noticeable that Shearer was extremely hard on Germany and he actually said that Paraguay deserved their lead at half time which was utter shite.  Aye, they hung in, defended well but in no way did they deserve the lead.  Anyhow, I was long sleeping before the end which I just caught on the news.  Germany will be sick but it's up to them to break down a stubborn Paraguay defence and the Germans rarely showed enough quality, like England IMO, in midfield to create many chances.
