As far as I'm aware there was next to no cash changed hands when we signed him, more emphasis on sighing on fees.  I've no doubt we've made money right now and, fingers crossed, he goes onto bigger/better things we'll rake in more cash.  He's young so plenty of time for him to develop.  The days of us giving players away are, thankfully, gone. 

He did a job for us and won a cup with us too. No point in keeping want-away players. ( Reached the ceiling with us too) Would like to think we made profit on him, but, end of the day we'll never know.

St Mirren Football Club can confirm that Miguel Freckleton has departed the club to join Austrian Champions LASK. The club has secured an undisclosed fee with significant future add-ons and a sell-on clause. With a year remaining on his Saints deal, Miguel made clear his desire to take on a new challenge with the Austrian Champions. The 22-year-old joined St Mirren last summer from Sheffield United and went on to make 47 appearances for the Buddies, scoring four times, as well as being an integral part in our Premier Sports Cup winning side. We sincerely thank Miguel for his contributions. He departs with the best wishes of everyone at St Mirren.
