When I passed the scene and clocked the Quad Bike, I said to myself , WTF First thought, maybe a Ned running amok Secondly, somebody from a nearby field having a terrible accident. Strange though
Callum Gilhooley
There are many road legal quad bikes. I find it incredible that the law does not specify that they must wear a crash helmet, they have little enough protection as it is.
Guest TPAFKATS
I've seen folk riding quad bikes on the road, caplethill Road between Paisley and Barrhead being one. I just can't imagine taking one onto St. James roundabout never mind a motorway slip road.
shull
24 year old Quad Bike driver dead at the scene. Hit a lamppost. Seen quite a few Quad Bikes going along Paisley Road West frequently and recently.

Strange though Some folk reported seeing the body lying on the carriageway under a blanket as well. Bloody dangerous these quad bikes, as Rik Mayall found out to his cost as well. Guest TPAFKATS
Seems quad bikes can be ridden on motorway if they have Road tyres and are Road not agricultural registered. Speeds of 60- 80 are achievable
