The only team in the bottom six with no chance of finishing 11th is Hearts. Of the rest I actually think we have the best fixtures, but that doesn't make us safe either. It could all go down to the final day and even goal difference.
Personally, I'd settle for 0-0, but reading the updates, a sneaky win could even be possible.
Would be interesting, if went 2-0 up, to see who comes on forecasting (hoping for) a certain collapse and a 3-2 defeat.
Unfortunately, I have to fly in one next Wednesday. I could always say no, but don't fancy being stuck out here forever. The wife would be minted though.
I agree with Pod about the old S-61n, but sadly that's not what I'll be flying in.
Actually, you were not one of the people I had in mind when I made that post, I only happened to be answering one of your posts. Take a look back from when we were 2-0 up and see how many seemed to be willing us to lose.
I can't say I didn't have any fears about losing, but I certainly didn't expect it and as long as I draw breath, I'll never actually want it.
I was saying I was staying positive. Turns out I was wrong. Oh how I envy all the clever cunts who got it right. As they say, if you wish for something hard enough, it might just come true.
Spewing at the result, especially looking at the stats, but I'm more sickened by people on here who seemed to be willing us to lose - even when we were 2-0 up
Just found this thread for the first time, so hadn't seen your post before. Aye, it was a weird day, running around town asking if anybody was showing the game. Only got to watch the end of it coz the guy in Trotters streamed it onto a big screen. I reckon most of the locals assumed St Mirren was some relation of St Patrick. Did we care?
Looking back, I can't even remember where we ended up.
I'd keep Bobby Adamson, Peter Kane and Hugh Gilshan. I'd also bring Dennis Connaghan back if he's available.
Right, I'm away to finish the rest of this bottle. I'll be back if I think of anybody else.
Thistle scored 3 away to Motherwell last week and were unlucky to lose. Today they got the result against Aberdeen that we should have got last week. Their upturn in form is a disaster for us.
I was told on good authority on Saturday that Ian Ferguson has made it known to the BOD that he would be interested in the position of Manager, as and when it become open.
Anyone else heard similar?
Would it be a good move for us if it ever happened?
