Our new CEO seems to know what he is doing and although our squad is looking a bit thin as the season draws to a close there is real cause for optimism. Now if we could stop scoring own goals off the field we'd be getting much more praise for the progress made than column inches for dubious stories.

Or of course you could wait for a club statement indicating it is in the best interest of the club and spin that instead.

I'm somewhere between Doakie and Baz, it seems to me that there has been some sort of misunderstanding regarding the application in both what land was to be used and how much had been discussed/understood before the application was made, both AW and the board are giving their side of things and the truth is somewhere in between, the disturbing thing is that another bad bout of communication has again reflected badly on the club.

She's also got a new series of books set in Devon or Cornwall that I haven't got to yet.

I think there were only 8 Shetland books, so like a lot of series it'll depend on the quality of writing to survive, unlike Coronation Street, Eastenders et al where 'tradition' rather than good writing are the recipe to survive.

Said yesterday it was about getting 6th place, I really don't think we have the squad or money to create a squad that could do Europe this year. Take the opportunity this year to get the squad sorted out early, get us right for pre season and League Cup then top 6 for next season and a push for the euro spots in earnest.
