Awrobreplelt reacted to DannysRevolution in Dannys Contract Renewal
Am I correct in thinking that Danny is out of contract in the summer?
He's led us to our highest SPL finish and brought national silverware back to Paisley so surely we'll be offering him a new deal.
Wouldn't blame him for walking away after this year due to some of the ridiculous abuse he has been recieving! However his CV will look very good after his few years at saints working on a budget that's getting cut year on year and still manages to get results, a job offer from down south can't be too far away!!

Right back from Blackpool on trial with a view to a loan deal. Says he can also play in midfield. 20 year old.

Awrobreplelt reacted to beyond our ken in Froch V Groves
This one had me on the edge of my seat. after the usual shitey Eddie Hearn undercard
Tremendous performance by both boxers and a controversial decision, i took advice from this forum and switched off the commentary after round 3, Jim Watt is an utter bawbag.
Apart from the knock-down, i reckoned Froch was never that far behind Groves and the ending was correct in my opinion, Groves was showing signs that he had shot his bolt from round 6. When Froch gets a man on the ropes, as he almost always does at some point, he has a technique of being able to land heavy shots repeatedly alternating from left to right really quickly. it's seems to be something to do with the way he sets his feet and holds his upper body that allows him to rotate from the waist, giving extra power to his naturally heavy handed punches, the way they come in seems to daze rather than stun opponents and when the ref sees the absence in the eyes of the opponent then he has to step in. Froch had just used that move successfully for the first time in the fight and Groves was reeling. When the ref called it, I thought Groves was already on his way down and slumped into him, the ref would have felt the lack of resilience in his body and that would have been enough.
i have to ask, what were the pundits on, to a man they wanted to see the fight go to a knock-down. i think Glenn McRory wanted the poor guy to end up as punchy and slurred as he is. In his exhausted state, I reckon Groves was saved from a real pasting
Opinions may vary, but hopefully anyone who watched will agree it was a proper scrap. I hope there is no re-match, i think Groves is too thick to realise the number that was done on him to finish the fight and will get a proper doing.

He was born in Brazil and used to play as a striker? Perhaps Vanzy doesn't have to fear for his place after all !!!!
