We won the Scottish cup in 1987 without a big centre half. David Winnie was a left back or midfielder until the semi final and Neil cooper was relatively small. peter Godfrey was our only out and out centre half and he didn't make the squad after injury. we,ve got loads more guys who can play central defence today than back then!
