  1. I'm not going to sing for Danny Lennon he's the manager of the opposition! He'll get a clap and be glad of it.
  2. Thanks for the memories Danny, but he's history. I'll clap for him at the start today but then i want his team to get thrashed.
  3. Why would Terry Butcher do a better job? He struggled at Newport. Ian Murray has struggled so far but could still turn it round, i think he will.
  4. I think that it is fair and realistic to allow Ian Murray time to get a team who play attractive football and win games. Danny Lennon had 4 years to try and get it right, Ian Murray has had 8 games.
  5. And meanwhile those who haven't hit the panic button will hope that the result on Saturday was turning point in our season.
  6. He was indeed a lovely guy and that can't be said for all managers. I agree with showing our appreciation but hopefully Ian Murray will provide us with some memorable days as well.
  7. An average player to be brutally honest. He doesn't deserve the level of criticism he gets but he's moved on, time to get behind the guys who are wearing the strip right now.
  8. Average goalkeeper who can easily be replaced. I never felt at ease when he was in goals and Langfield is a much better goalkeeper.
  9. Ok worst start since whenever, will that matter if we finish in the top 4 by May?
  10. I appreciate the memories of the league cup final and he deserves a good reception but we had many dire performances under Danny as well. Just because we made a horrendous mistake appointing Tommy Craig doesn't mean everything was rosy in the garden under Lennon, it certainly wasn't.
  11. Yes and you haven't before a ball was even kicked.
  12. Good result on Saturday and i fully expect us to get our first home win of the season against Alloa and finally start to climb the table.
  13. Murray will get a chance to make this right by trying to win the next couple of games. If we lose i think even the Board will lose patience, i don't think SG is as fond of Murray as he was of TC, the best coach he'd ever worked with
  14. To be honest i don't think there would be a shortage of applications. I think he deserves more time but he has to get results asap.
  15. I think it is a tad early to be saying that to be honest i can think of periods in the 90s and early 2000s when we were particularly dire.
  16. He has been a complete waste of a wage unfortunately, i had hoped he would prove the doubters wrong.
  17. Very true but we cannot wait as long as we did with TC before we act, I'd say if we lose the next 2 or 3 games Ian Murray's job will be on the line.
  18. Concerning yes, but not a crisis. Anyone with any sense wanted us to stay up last season but 2 dud mangers ruined any notion of that. I think giving Gow a contract was a mistake, given his previous track record, but the other players deserve a little more time to try and get the wins that will push us up the table. The next month will decide Murray's fate one way or the other, he needs wins, it's that simple.
  19. If we lose the next 2 games i reckon his job might be in danger, hope it doesn't come to that.
  20. I doubt any manager would sign a 2 year contract that stipulated little or no compensation if things didn't work out.
  21. Apparently no, can we find something else to criticise?
  22. Maybe he thought he could see the game better? Just a thought, crisis? Hardly. Maybe in a month if we lose the next 4 games i might accept that but not right now. Not good, but a crisis? At this moment? Nah
  23. Why? The last game we won was away from home. We have lost by the odd goal the last few weeks, not tanked 5-0. I know that these results aren't acceptable but it wouldn't surprise me if we beat Hibs.
  24. Teale wasn't ready and i don't know if he'll get another go at it. He took the job on knowing what was required, staying up. We didn't and the rest is history.
