I think I would prefer to see a bit of an Aberdeen revival as they play Motherwell and Dundee twice before the split and that would assist our top 6 chances.
Happy to see them lose their other two games against Livingston and Ross County to help with the meltdown.
If I remember correctly, he had Rublev serving 0-40 down in one of the games towards the end of the first set and Murray could not get the break.
Looks like curtains now.....
I watched this match last night and I though Murray played very well.
Mind you, he seems to have the Indian sign over Goffin. Murray has never lost a single set, never mind a match, to Goffin, the commentator said last night.
You are correct that he was not ranked 10 six months ago. I misread the BBC article:
Andy Murray: Briton suggests he may only have few months left of career - BBC Sport
Murry also said in his interview after the match : I probably don't have too long left but I'll do as best as I can these last few months," .
I guess he has just about had enough.......
Shapovalov was ranked 10th in the world six months ago before getting injured, but has now recovered and is making his way back again, so I think it is a bit much to imply he is a complete numpty.
I agree with what you say.
What happens if your goalkeeper gets a blue card?
Do you put an outfield player in goal?
Do you bring on a sub goalkeeper if it is a critical point in the game?? What do you when your blue carded goalkeeper comes back? Sub off the sub? Play them outfield?
It would be interesting to see how many were prosecuted in the 20 years prior to Fujitsu getting involved.
I heard a bit of the inquiry on the radio in my car this morning. The lawyer spent about 15 mins quizzing a PO investigator about whether he had been conducting the interview with the accused postmaster professionally as he had told her she should get up earlier if she could not open the Post Office in time in the morning!
No wonder these inquiries take so long and they cost so much with lawyers making a killing.
As things stand with VAR, I agree it should be a red card, but how low would Hart have to be before it is his own fault? I don't think that when Craig Gordon got his bad injury throwing himself at the forward's feet there was any red card.
I don't remember any sanction for Maeda (I think) barging Hemming into the advertising boards after he had cleared the ball on the sideline. That looked
a) deliberate and
b) endangering an opponent.
I watched the game live on TV, not sure if it appeared on the highlights for those of you at the match.
I can't believe how little flak that Fujitsu are getting from this. Even now when there is little doubt about who is to blame for this they still seem to be avoiding much publicity.
I have watched most of the first episode and Fujitsu have not been mentioned.
There was also a previous article, nothing about the Buddies in this one, but still entertaining.
