No chance our manager and his assistant ain't " mugs " they know only too well that they will be judged by results and their signings and also the improvements made to present squad . Well said , Craig has had more managers the sack than Eric Black ! Teale should have been told your playing or your out , he's another example of an injured player picking up a wage from us ! Rae seemed to be standing up to all the previous nonsense and had no respect for the likes of Thomson who was obviously a bad influence at the end up as well as slagging off team mates on TV and smoking outside The a Fox and Hounds so Rae " took on " issues like when he played . As IVE said before its not all down to The Manager running a Football Club . Wee Gordon seems to be sitting not doing a lot . Possibly Rae stood up to him and the wee salesman didn't like it

Agreed , Rae was not given a chance . He didn't bow down to bigger names and just had a big mess to clear up . He had to sort out prima donnas and he had no time for that nonsense . We were down until he came and from his first game at Alloa there was better attitude . However as you say we are were we are and I sincerely hope Jack turns it around . If he keeps us up he will most likely move on because he will have to hit more or less promotion form which he can do

Ok it must be me , I must have seen by far most of the games that Quinn has played and he's done NOTHING for me at all . What's all this about " when he's fit " ? Does that mean when he comes back from injury I take it ? He's ALWAYS injured and injured players should certainly not be around guys who are " Fit " and ready to battle for the cause . I'm telling you that there is a possibility that Quinn was signed when he was carrying an injury and that is NOT the fault of Rae its a fault of the business side of The Club . what's The Policy for pre signing ? Is there medical reports and the file on players medical record looked at ? We cannot afford to carry or wait for players to get over injuries although I do appreciate it can happen And if it happens playing for us then I'm 100% ok with that but Quinn will do nothing for us . As for McKenzie he looks another who has " SUSPECTED TORN SOCK SYNDROME " but he's done not bad apart from trying to be too clever v Dundee Utd and sold the second goal when we may have scored and got a point . If McKenzie does wins the ball and has a no nonsense approach IE big Godfrey years ago he could assist us a lot . That's 1 thing I like about Jack Baird he never " hides " behind an injury but needs to get tighter and harder . Now before you with the daft hat in the photo calls me Alex Rae or Fergie go ask Jack Ross of his opinion of what I'm saying before you talk more rubbish and contribute nothing as usual . Injured players are no good at all to us and when mixing with guys who are ready to " fix bayonets " can be a very bad influence . But I bet Jack already knows this . We are in a " War Zone " it's all about attitude " and pride we need 1 or 2 guys to drag the rest up . I agree 1 win and things turn round but defenders need to DEFEND . When we get the win it will for sure be scrappy BUT with fantastic attitude so not more talk about when someone is back fit as Jack's only interested in battlers from now on . Agree completely with you . Jack Ross is working very very hard to build confidence and 2 wins in a a row and our season is off only problem will be keeping hold of Jack at the end of this season as he will attract interest from other Clubs if he keeps us up

Met Stewart many years ago so not a friend of his . I'm a loyal supporter and was very grateful for his efforts with Saints . I thought my suggestion made sense that he could assist GS as he's definitely struggling and under pressure . Even if Stewart was made " an honary president " or some such title then it could give him an incentive to return to matches . Even his presence would give us a lift . Or why not do this with Jacky Copland ( huge legend ) the place needs leaders and these type of characters can rub off on The Team .

That's exactly my point GS has put in nothing he's possibly borrowed funds to put in but he himself has put in nothing . If it all works out then great but he will require an injection of funds very soon just wait and see . Why is everyone defending a guy who is obviously only a good salesman as he sold his package to the subscribers ( of which I'm 1 of them ) . He will need to sell Mallon soon and even at that because of the results his value is dropping by the week . The business side of The Club is a mess . On the playing side as I pointed out the smart move would have been to keep Alex Rae in place until the end of the season then brought in a new manager . Ok I accept that Rae didn't play open attacking nice to whatch stuff but he would for certain have kept us up in this division . However GS made the decision and brought in Jack Ross who I personally think has got the team playing a better style and long term will be better than Rae but there is now a risk of relegation . GS made this decision to try and " win over " supporters It has to be agreed that his timing was very wrong . Please do not believe he's done it for The Club or The Supporters he's doing it for himself . I just hope he is giving Jack Ross everything he needs in terms of his time and support . GS strikes me as an interfering type who would not know the difference between a football or a Mellon but I can't see Jack putting up with any nonsense . By the way I'm not Chick Young or Alex Rae but I attened every match at home and most matches away from home . My Wife laughs every month when The Bank Statement comes in and even she can't believe that I'm contributing so GS gets his " wee ba " To play with but if she gets a laugh at me fair enough she spends plenty getting her hair done and make up and she's still ugly !

Can I ask you do you not think it would be a positive step ( albeit short term ) to bring Stewart Gilmour back to assist Gordon Scott who lets face it is struggling badly as The Chairman . I'm not " in the know " at all but I'm a true supporter as most of the people who write on this site are . Work it out yourself . Sit down with a calculator as you will see that we do not have nearly enough subscribers . Also within a year or so The Club will need a cash injection so who's going to give it ? Gordon Scott ? No chance . Wait and see and soon Scott will have to go . If he was a real supporter he'd wLk now . He's out of his depth and should ask Gilmour to return . Scott has put nothing in yet has his " wee ball " to play with . A lot of people have chipped in and that includes me as we love The Club he's put in nothing by himself and you all seem to think he's doing it for the supporters ! If Gilmour offered to return now who in his right mind would refuse his services ? He'd make an immediate impact as he knows how to run a Football Club of our size

Looks like there are some present board members writing on this site ! I don't happen to think you are 1 of them however . It's my opinion that Gordon Scott is up to no good and he will also have to ask us for more money soon and thats a fact . He must consider handing in his resignation very soon . Don't tell me that Stewart Gilmour was not Saints through and through he done a fantastic job and we need him back now to steady The Club and get a feel good factor about us again . Someone gave credit to Langfield for admitting he's not up to the job so how about Gordon Scott doing likewise and standing down . Like it or not he's made errors and he's dishonest and has hidden agendas . He's under severe pressure that's for certain . All this mess has nothing to do with Jack Ross or Alex Rae for that matter . It's my opinion that if Alex Rae had still been in charge we would not be bottom at this moment . Yes we are playing more positive football under Jack and I really do believe that when we get the first win we will go on a run . Jack Ross has great potential but he's young and requires a strong character within The Club and Stewart Gilmour is that person to work with Jack . Gilmour had no hidden agendas unlike Scott , just wait and see . What I do notice is on this site a lot of people just don't want to hear the facts !

I'm also behind Jack Ross despite the fact that I think Rae took on a difficult job and kept us up last year . The time to sack him was at the end of this season if that's what Gordon Scott wanted . So actually how much did Scott put in ? The question is NOT borrow but in cash terms actually put in ? I repeat I myself on Saturday spoke to 3 people who are very serious about cancelling their standing order and urged them not to do so . The fact is the fans takeover will only happen when there is more money put in and Gordon Scott knows that . The figures just don't stack up and shortly he will be asking us for more money . All this nonsense that he's doing it for the good of the club is just rubbish and I just don't believe it . He should do the correct thing and stand down now and if he loves the Club he should ask Stewart Gilmour to come back and give the place a huge lift . Scott is just not a leader but he's a good salesman that's for sure . Get Gilmour back now and we stay up as the guy has got what it takes to be a good Chairman AND is for sure a tremendous no nonsense leader .

I don't know exactly what's going on but if you think he's doing this for the love of the Club with all due respect your dreaming . What business in Spain ? What business in Las Vagas ? Ask him directly yourself . He went with the flow . He was turned down by other managers who would not work with the guy . Ask yourself what's in it for Gordon Scott ? He's a salesman and 100 % NOT doing this for the love of The Club . It all comes from the top the place has had people with their own agendas for years now . Every time there is a change of manager he naturally will want his own staff in . Gordon Scott was no different so he got rid of Rae at an extremely stupid time after only a handful of games ! Not clever . He should have kept Rae until the end of the season then got rid of him if he'd wanted . Rae kept us up last year and would have done the same this year . However personally I will support Jack Ross but as I say it's not all down to The Manager ,Scott has to take a good look at himself and consider his position . I hope he's supporting Jack as he's a good young Manager who can and will turn it around . When he does he will probably get offered another job because he's going to have to get a good run going but 1 win can turn the place around . Your correct I agree . However it's a fact that if the team continue to work hard and create chances we can turn the corner . People seem to think it's all down to The Manager but it's not . There is a lot wrong behind the scences for sure . Now I don't know Gordon Scott but he for sure is not " The fans saviour " he's not doing this for nothing . He needs to be working 24 hrs per day to assist in anyway possible Jack Ross to allow Jack and his coaching staff to get on with what they are there for THATS working with the team full time . I pay my monthly money to the scheme and I'll continue to do so as like others my heart is ruling my head according to my Wife ! We need to be clear what Gordon Scott is up to . If he's just wanted to " play with his own ball " then fine but PLEASE don't try and fool football fans as they ain't all daft . I think it's odd that all the anger is vented to Managers and Coaches this has to stop and the likes of Scott needs to be honest with people . Jack Ross HAS changed a lot of habits and does not need interference from outside parties . We were the better team in most of the recent games . Listen to Jack's interviews he's very positive . As for Sandy Clark as far as I could see Jack went to shake his hand at the end of the game which takes a lot of character after a home defeat in a game which we were the better side . Let's see if Sandy has the same character when we beat them at East End Park ! No chance . I think when we get our first win we will go on a run . However it was a poor goal to lose . Jack Baird needs to learn how to mark me " on the shoulder " and other defenders should at this level know the importance of anticipating the first ball won't be won and simply move in front of the attackers to win the second ball . Jack also cannot afford to " dive in " like he done in second half when their guy went through on goal . The boy has potential but requires a lot of individual coaching and Jack Ross has the information as does guys like Webster .

Wee Bud , good question . You or I could be a CE OR CEO . If it's just a " paper exercise " for a Mickey Mouse outfit / business or lower Leauge football club then it really does not matter who is the CE but for a Club with some standing like ours it does matter who is the CE as they have to have business skills and a track record of building a business or been involved in turning a struggling situation into a success story . At a Full Time Club who has ambitions to be a Premier Leauge team to have someone with little or no business knowledge just won't wash . We all know Tony Fitzpartick's history at St Mirren as the guy is simply a legend and could be a tremendous link between The Board and The Supporters . Maybe I'm wrong but did Tony work in a business before ? What's his background to getting this appointment? If he gets success I'll be the first to say fantastic . Success is getting " bums on seats " and getting things tee up for Jack Ross . Not blaming The Manager when things don't work out ! Agreed , I hope it goes good for you Jack fantastic interview on Website I'm certain you will get a fantastic response . Just don't get caught up on Agendas of others IE Tony Fitzpartick but I think your too smart for that . By the way fantastic interview recently by Andy Webster who came accross as an absouloute credit to St Mirren . He was assisting with coaching duties and despite all the really bad criticism levelled at him ( completely unjustified) he had a big input into last weeks great fightback v Falkirk . Oh yes and guess who came on and scored ? Another player who has been wrongly criticised and improved every game yet his attitude has remained top class . Correct I agree GUS will make us hard to beat but PLEASE no complaining that he plays negative football . He's not a manager who plays free flowing football but he gets everyone working and doing a specific job . He can and would save us but I bet he will want a " Bullet Proof " contract as he's going to be working alongside " DEADLY GORDON " Scott . He's done a fantastic job at Queen's Park where he has a secure position . So " DEADLY GORDON " will be working out his sums at the moment . Let's hope he works them out better than he did with getting us to buy the Club for his as he's got that one very clearly wrong

Good observation and constructive . If someone like GUS does come in that's probably what he'd do play a back 5 and ban back passes from wide positions just knock the ball out for a shy and take the abuse from crowd get a draw job done . Yes agreed why get on the guys back if he's x Rangers , Celtic or whatever he can do a decent job for us so get fully behind players .
