  1. To be honest as a ST holder I would want in, however I would gladly give a ‘donation’ to the tune of the value of the game ticket - to help the club out. The day will come (hopefully soon), I have said many times on here that I hope the club is ready to act when the go ahead is given. It’s difficult as a partially filled stadium of ST holders only brings in hee haw revenue to the club.
  2. A win would be great as this would take us right behind the fakes (can’t see either them or Ross County getting anything this weekend). We also have that ‘game in hand’ (last time I checked)...
  3. I really do hope the clubs (especially ours) have been using the long lay off to work up scenarios (plan A, B, C etc) so as when we can get in there is no delay. This raises the debate again, if it’s season ticket holders first - the club makes no real additional revenue.
  4. Yeah I still have a lot of mates up in the north east and I fully agree this is the worst, the next 3 to 6 months is going to be absolutely brutal. Glad to hear you got fixed up.
  5. This is it FS, they (the companies) are absolutely shi**ing themselves and panic cutting resources at will (most of the time with no logic). I recently bailed out of a large north east Oil and Gas mob that have interests down in the central belt as I could sense that they were panicking. Unfortunately there will be more to come
  6. I think she will indeed go in heavy but will most likely spare the schools and possibly outdoor sports. Furthermore I imagine this will be 2 off 3 week spells to allow them to gather enough ‘data’.
  7. That is quite a hike in prices- particularly on the nightly rate, customers will soon get fly for this and won’t return, my sons haircut for example has went up a pound, now I don’t mind this because they will likely have additional overheads for the booking system, masks and sanitiser etc coupled with possible less custom. I have always been the way that companies need to make profit but shouldn’t tear the @rse out of it...
  8. I really do find it intriguing that the infection rates are high again but the hospital admissions and deaths are not relative. Something is not right with all of this - just seems to me that if this trend continues (minimum deaths and admissions) they absolutely HAVE to open everything up ASAP. Enough is enough!!
  9. I just don’t understand why all the fixtures next weekend (apart from Glasgow) can’t be the subject of some form of test event - getting really hacked off now with all this - just want to get back to the football with my son... They have to get us back in at some point!!
  10. Totally agree - just wish I knew their objective/ rationale. Pubs are busy (not that I’ve been to one), as of tomorrow you can go to the gym, was in Starbucks in Linwood today and that was busy. I appreciate they (government) are cautious and everybody has to be responsible but they need to get a move on and get us back in - this all helps the economy. I wonder if the government are even engaging with the football clubs about a return - if they’re doing nothing well that’s just criminal!!
  11. Appreciate the OF will always get preference, but for experimental purposes why not give the six home clubs that weekend a bash.
  12. I see Ross County and Rangers have been approved for their respective home games on 12/09 to be test events with a third tbc. Why not test all 6 fixtures that weekend - to collect more feedback/data to analyse?
  13. I thought Morais and McAllister were a wee bit better yesterday, however I recall in the second half there was a wee spell of play (particularly McAllister) where the shot was on and I think he hesitated. Good direct play from McAllister in the run up to the goal too!!
  14. Only a thought, couldn’t we ‘bar’ away fans and have pay at the gate home fans in there, thinking mainly about (when fans get in), home games against say Hamilton & Ross County when both are luck to bring 200 fans?
  15. I cannot wait to get back to the football with my son, I miss it so much, it’s not just the match, it’s the anticipation, walking up to the stadium etc. I hope we are in sooner than later and would hope again that the club are working up scenarios for our safe return. If we get this right - everybody wins (fans get back = revenue for club).
  16. Can anyone please remind me the login format for st Mirren tv, I’ve changed jobs since the Livi game, handed my work computer back and now I’m freaking out. From memory was it something like eg:- JOHN-SMITH-123456781234 I cannot find any mails or previous post with format/guidance. Any support greatly appreciated.
  17. I think it will be ok on appeal, what I don’t get is that after the teachers submitting their recommendations (based on prelim / general performance etc) is the random intervention (by SQA I assume) and subsequent ‘moderation’. Don’t get me wrong here, I’m being selfish and purely looking out for my daughters best interests, but for others (5th year for example) this is wrecking dreams. I just don’t understand how they can moderate (predominantly downwards) with no evidence.
  18. I would absolutely love to know the criteria for A, choosing which child gets ‘Moderated’, B, the subject that gets moderated. And C the actual method? It’s my understanding that a random 25% were subject to ‘Moderation’ and that 93% of that 25% were downgraded. My daughter scored highest in her school for the physics prelim but got ‘modified’ down to a B, we checked with the school and they proposed an A1, we will appeal and likely win (since the supporting data is there), however as you say, what is the criteria or indeed the algorithm for moderation. To say I am disgusted is an understatement.
  19. I had that issue on work computer, changed internet setting to Google Chrome and it worked!!
  20. Fair point indeed, I worked up there for years and missed my fair share of games (mainly midweek) meaning my daughter couldn’t attend either. Furthermore the club needs the additional revenue from non season ticket supporters so hopefully a solution can be found to get as many buddies in as possible. Just throwing this out there, could we exclude away fans meaning we use the away stand?
  21. This has been on my mind for a while AS as to when we would get back, I also assume season ticket holders may get priority, I’m guessing we have sold 2 - 3 thousand, so wonder how that might work with ratios / social distancing criteria. Just hope we can get back by that date!!
  22. Been thinking the same myself mate, renewed 2 weeks ago for me an my son, don’t have buddivision so wondering how we’re going to see the Livi game? Wonder if the club will email a link with a unique code or something?
  23. Was very tempted, however we were popping into the mother in laws and I knew she would grass me in to the wife. Yes I am a coward...
  24. Just had my first meal out in 4 months, my daughter & I cycled from Paisley to bridge of weir and we went to amarettos, I had a lovely burger and chips and she had a pizza - fantastic, wish I’d had a pint. Feels as if things are slowly getting back to normal, just hope the numbers and statistics for the next few weeks back this up!!
