  1. I disagree. 10th is decent by our standards 😂 Still in contention for 9th which isn’t far off our best finish (8th) this millennium. Can’t really see what we’d gain by ousting Goody.
  2. Saints -1 Accies -2 County -3 Hearts -5 Excellent midweek for us!
  3. Green cunts 1-0 Heart of Midlothian Hibernian 2-0 Ross County Kilmarnock 0-1 Sevco 2012 St Johnstone 1-1 Motherwell Only team in the bottom 5 gaining a point midweek so far is the Fakes.
  4. It’s a start, so fair play to them. What’s needed is a mutually agreed boycott across all clubs, perhaps into the new season. Little ones here and there won’t change much, but if many fans refused to travel to an away match across the country, and stuck to it for a few weeks, change would be swift.
  5. Aye too bloody right. Cuts our GD advantage from 10 to 9 😡
  6. Just been looking up Livi’s recent form and didn’t realise how well they’ve actually being doing. 5th in the league. 6 straight home wins (5 of those are league, 1 was cup against Raith). Only Aberdeen and Sevco have managed to defeat Livi at Le Tony Macaroni this season. Respect where it’s due, if we come away with a point that’s not a bad result considering how good Livi how actually been this season at home.
  7. Good first half. Hope the Dons keep it up and hammer the Accies goal difference a bit more.
  8. By all means I’m sure he’s been hitting the gym and so on, but match fitness is a different thing. Jim himself has said Ross isn’t match fit atm.
  9. Seeing as it’s a Tory government, you’ve answered your own question. They’d rather spend £100bn on an unnecessary railway line than help to sort out homelessness. They don’t even need to necessarily spend much to solve homelessness - all those houses they keep asking councils to hit target numbers with - how about accommodating some of that for those desperate in need? It’s all nice and well building thousands of houses, but not many are sold off as council housing, and the term “affordable” is laughable. When I get out of bed I sing the European national anthem, then kneel down and worship a statue of Verhofstadt. His spiritual presence motivates me for the day ahead.
  10. Good to see them getting a body in. Fitness is a concern but generally will be with any free agent at this point of the season. Hopefully we get something out of him, best of luck.
  11. Thanks to a vote I had no say in, I’ve had to apply to stay on the island I’ve pretty much lived my whole life on, where I was educated, where I work, and where my two home-born sons are. Damn right I go on about it, it’s a f**king joke.
  12. Fiona Mearns scored both of ours. We were 3-0 down at HT but apparently fought well in the 2nd half.
  13. Full Time: Airdrie LFC 4-2 Saints Other results: M*rt*n 5-0 Stenhousemuir United Glasgow 3-1 Clyde Livingston 12-0 Edinburgh City Three other fixtures were postponed
  14. We know what’s at stake now - another home tie against two sides we’ve beaten already this season. Come on Saints, get into these bastards in the replay and seal our QF place.
  15. Fort William have managed to go three games unbeaten now. They followed a 1-0 win in Clachnacuddin with a 2-2 draw in Deveronvale. Still on the road, they go to Turriff United and win 2-1. Go on the Fort!
  16. 2 defeats, managed to just about get bonus points in both. Yet another year of sort of being competitive without doing anything.
  17. Opening day of the league today for our women, here’s hoping for a good season ahead.
  18. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but I lay no blame about these transfers to anyone. Wank Wank Broadfoot basically left us in the shit by stating in the latter stages of deadline day he wanted out. At that point it was pretty much confirmed he’d stay here and rot in the reserves, or just bump him off the wage bill. Goodwin wasn’t left with much choice, there’s no point keeping a player who isn’t going to give his all for you. The blame here lies squarely with Wank Wank Broadfoot, who could have stated his intentions earlier on in the month and allowed us to find the cover needed. And for all you know, if he stayed, it might have been him limping off injured this week and we’d have been saying “oh, we should have punted him now”. As for McGinn, it’s cash for a player who would have been gone for free. At the time, Hodson was a good replacement, and we’ve known Flynn has covered the position will. Like I say above, had Paul got injured this week for the rest of the season we’d be sat here wishing we took the money. You can’t see who’s going to get injured in the future and when, and the deals at the time made sense. The situation now is worrying, but I have no qualms about how Jim and the board acted regarding these transfers - Wank Wank Broadfoot was a c**t and we did cover the McGinn situation well. Injuries leave us short but had Flynn got injured without these transfers taking place, and McGinn instead of Hodson, we’d be lamenting the same situation.
  19. Aaron Muirhead had some game today...
  20. Still in the cup, tough tie away now but hopefully we can make it another trip to Fir Park worth remembering.
