  1. Oh forgot about WBA, yeah I think you are right. Big sam will quit before end of season I think as he wont want to 'lose' his reputation for keeping teams up, they are really crap for EPL. Too hard to pick from the other 4 tho
  2. Sheffield United all but gone just who will fill the other two places
  3. Not long if from work and got to say 1 point better than none. Fully expect rangers to beat utd tomorrow and we will still be in 6th. Although motherwell are rotten still take a scrappy 1 nil win and 3 points midweek🙂 COYS
  4. Jeez! That's cheered me up after 7 backshifts🤣🤣🤣 in saying that never wanted to be involved with earlier kick offs on a sunday especially after a good saturday night out🤢
  5. I'd go for Hamilton and Ross county to go down. Hamilton's luck will run out eventually. Would have said kilmarnock before but I think Tommy Wright will steer them away from trouble. Hearts and Dundee to come up. Seems bizarre all this as we are usually in that mix.
  6. In the case of IOM I know they have kept a lid on covid due to their strict regulations for travel. One of my lads flatmates at huddersfield uni is from there. When they were given dates to leave for christmas he had to have 2 negative covid tests prior to travelling back to IOM, then once back had to isolate for 10 days. Then managed to torment my lad with vids of out pubbing it etc. Then when on return to huddersfield after new year had to provide negative tests before leaving island. Closing borders until you get sorted with vaccinations, etc seems to be the only way out.
  7. Unfortunately its agents that dictate, do they really act in the best interests of players on their books. Do they really care if somebody like JDH is out of the game by they are say 25 erm naw because there will be others that will pay them say 5% of wage for their sevices😡 Some players might get better advice but many wont
  8. This got me thinking and this is a belter😄 In between my working time with the perth bus giants I worked for a fairly small coach company for 3 years. One of the jobs I got was to take Galloway's society for the blind from Preston to London for 4 days to get an award at parliament and sightseeing tour.................. Once I got over the shock of when they would say 'see you later', it wasn't bad at all.
  9. A lot of the 'local' edge of town shopping centres down here as opposed to the larger places like the Metrocentre have time limit parking with fines for overstaying, I would think the retailers would strongly oppose charged parking as the norm especially as we can expect an element of social distancing and reduced use of public transport for a while yet. Oh I don't mind the reduced use of public transport at all😉
  10. Jings! And that's after I thought that diving one couple of years ago was bad........😦 Mind you that Michael McIntyre game show spinning thing is crap too. The joys of coronashit, a comedian me and Mrs CS have been to see live a few times having to resort to that cos his job basically dried up.
  11. Anything to make it look decent and a bit of distance to get off the 1st then it didn't matter if rest went well or not
  12. Topping it was the worst😯 Didn't know you went on any round with me as every shot was aimed well left😂😂😂
  13. Never forget the horror of the golf course on a Saturday morning. Turn up at 7 (ish) to get a tee time for about 9. Then try to tee off without making an arse of it in front of everyone. That first shot would determine whether it was going to be crap or utter crap😅
  14. Got to say even tho being kept updated on score last night, still watched it when I got home late, late on. Yes, McGrath going off changed things but let's not forget Lennon would have given them a major baw kicking after the defeat to us and probably dished it out again at halftime. As for a previous post about another raith rovers situ in the making, give over nowhere near. As for hitting panic button after last night, not at all. I'm sure there will have been a baw kicking tho and I would suggest the tv manner of JG is nowhere near JG off screen.
  15. Of course! I on other hand will need bag the odd 5 mins when at work 2more night when at work. Shouldn't be to hard what with next to empty buses and hardly pushed for time because of it. Mind you need to use own data cos they switched wifi off to save money.............
  16. Jeez even worse! And they will be the first ones to whinge when there are even more players without clubs, etc Which no doubt will happen.
  17. What makes it worse is that it's a Jonathan Woodgate managed team winning😲
  18. I would hazard a guess that it's been a select few lg1 & 2 clubs that have pushed for this and most being happy to go with the salary cap as it will ensure the clubs are still viable. I would imagine clubs like Sunderland and Ipswich in league 1 would have pushed for it. Bolton in lg2 I would imagine even after their financial disaster a couple of years ago. Sheer stupidity imo and will cause more bury situations.
  19. £200 fine each isn't anywhere near enough to stop it🤬
  20. I would say most clubs FS, you surely cannot keep shelling out that amount of money without things going tits up eventually. I'm not naive to say that gate money alone pays players wages but it goes a long way to service debt along with all other matchday income. Clubs like Sheffield United not providing funds in transfer window for one. Whether they are being prudent and preparing for championship footy or genuinely no money is one. West Brom who may have went gun ho on desperation of staying up could come back to bite them in the bum. I'd say they are more.
  21. The thing with the EPL is that eventually it will fail just purely down to the money clubs are shelling out in wages, once this happens and I dont think it's too far off with some clubs hemorrhaging money like they are then these 'top' players will just jump to another league. The financial pressure of staying in premier league unfortunately means that there are more teams grinding out results instead of the free flowing footy you would expect. Also the mess clubs who get relegated get themselves into if they don't get promoted back within the parachute payment time is quite staggering for instance Wigan, Sheffield Wednesday and Leeds fall into that category albeit Leeds got themselves together eventually. Anyway celts are there for the taking again COYS
