Apparently he scored 23 goals last season. He could do a job and he's got lots of experience and at 31 probably has one or 2 good seasons left in him.

I think Billy is out of contract at the Malaysian club he's playing for this summer. He could do a job for us in the championship.

I will always renew my season ticket but that doesn't mean the BOD can just take us for granted. If they don't get a new manager in then they obviously don't care and if they think that they got OTT criticism this season that will be nothing compared to next season.

The bad thing is i really mean it! Before yesterday i had visions of us beating Partick and Motherwell losing on Friday night meaning that if we beat County on the Saturday our survival would have been back in our hands... Silly me, i forgot we were shit!

One thing is certain...the past ain't coming back. I like to reminisce like everyone else but i look forward to more days like we had in 1987, 2000, 2006 and 2013.

The only way we'll compete is if the BOD actually do their job properly and get a manager in as soon as Motherwell win on Friday night and seal our fate. Get a manager in who will immediately identify who he wants and more importantly, who to show the door to which will free up wages. We need to find players who are hungry and have the legs to chase everything, we do not need players like Goodwin, Gow, Arquin, Wylde and probably Thompson unless he gets fit. All the loan players will go too, that's a lot of spaces to fill and if the right manager finds the right players to compliment our good young players, we could have a good team next season.

People only miss Danny because he was replaced by one of the worst managers in the history of St Mirren. Teale doesn't have the experience and can't be judged as harshly and Craig. Danny Lennon wasn't the answer and he left at the right time, the BOD have made this mess and will have to deal with the consequences.

Teale will not get the job now, he's no better than Craig. He can either put his boots on for one more season or leave, he still has a year on his contract to go. Same scenario with Goodwin, i wouldn't play him next season so with a bit of luck he'll move on. Whoever comes in has to act quick and decide who he wants because we've seen what happens when you leave it to the last minute. The writing is on the wall for Teale anyway, Gilmour has already stated that he thought about replacing him a few weeks back.

I agree about needing experience and the new manager will have the chance to find this. Goodwin is not the answer he doesn't have the legs to play in midfield now and is too slow for central defence. I think we look a lot more promising when we play with the younger players who have more energy and the stamina to keep going. We need to find someone to add a bit of composure to the midfield to compliment the energy of the younger players.

Seriously? Goodwin is finished. He is not a central defender and he's lost the pace to play his best position which was holding midfielder. Goodwin is one of the experienced underachievers who have put us in this position.

We have lost 8 goals in 2 away games where we took a sizeable support who were hoping to see a team fight for every ball. It's clear that the manager and most of the players are not good enough. Time for change ASAP!

If we give Teale the job the attendances will plummet to an all time low, he would be an even worse appointment than Tommy Craig. The BOD need to do the right thing for a change.

St Mirren will be relegated when Motherwell play on Friday night. Teale should depart along with half the team and we can start getting ready for the championship. Complete lack of fight and we didn't ever look like scoring. The fans were in good voice and didn't deserve the shambles in front of them.

If it's down to 4 points by the end of today the St Mirren board should lay on buses, this would be a chance to show the fans they appreciate their support and stop the constant negativity towards them.

Yep it's a no-brainer. Doesn't matter where we are playing next season, the young players will form the bulk of the team and we need rid of the experienced underachievers.

I hope there's no Goodwin in the starting line up, he's finished. We need to play with the energy that we did last week to have a chance of beating Thistle.

If we win today and Motherwell lose it becomes very interesting again. As long as we match what they do next week and then beat them at home we could go into the last game with a chance of staying up. The dream scenario would be of course we win the next 2 games and they lose meaning it would then be in our hands....we can but dream

That was the best season ever. Away to Ayr and scoring so late in injury time was just superb and the celebrations were amazing. That whole summer was brilliant too, i remember being in Tenerife and singing St Mirren songs at 5 in the morning walking home from a night of clubbing , the party lasted that whole summer. I hope we see days like that again.
