  1. I probably exaggerated when I said "a lot" of them but, yes there are some who still think they are a heavyweight in Scottish, British and European football. In my last job, there were quite a few who still believed they were still "the famous Aberdeen" and one guy in particular said to me "If Religion had never existed, Aberdeen would be regular champions of Scotland and have the financial clout of Celtic and Rangers." Rangers did exist in those days right enough. I feel some of them are deluded and still hark back to the Sir Alex Ferguson days. I know Sir Alex is held in high regard by Buddies who enjoyed his era in Paisley (unfortunately that was before my time) but I feel St. Mirren fans are more grounded and realistic about our place in the football World.
  2. The woman with the red coat looks more like you though. Plus she's getting the shit knocked out of her: that must remind you of yourself in high school!
  3. I believe the best way to answer this drivel is by using your "go to" response when you are "called out" by others... As for the second paragraph in your inane ramblings, you are actually describing yourself! It's you who is the troll and posts "made up stories"! You are addicted to this forum, even spending the majority of your time on it when you claim to be "on holiday"! You really are a sad, bitter and twisted individual. I think Warrior Saint is on to something when he said you were probably bullied a lot when you were younger so you're trying to play the "big man" on the internet. Your relatives must be very proud.
  4. I asked you a simple enough, for the majority of the people on Earth, question. You were unable to answer it. Then you make up more nonsense about me being Shull, which I'm not. Also, if you had bothered to do your research before you took a screenshot, (I particularly liked the fact you changed it from me putting "sad faces" against your posts to "likes" against Shull's posts) you would see that I didn't "like" a post in the "Divers and Cheats" and "Let's All Laugh At Sevco/Celtic" threads within the time frame you have shown. You really will have to try harder. Now, back to my original question. What do you get out of constantly trolling and feeling the need to belittle others. It should be a simple enough question that most people should be able to answer. I'm not sure you'll be able to answer it though. Maybe it's a bit advanced for you. I blame your parents for taking you away on holiday when you should be in school.
  5. A genuine question for you. Faraway. What do you get out of all of this?
  6. He goes out of his way to troll and antagonise others. Then, when he gets the reaction he craves, he hits the "report" button and screams with faux outrage about being hard done by, offended, "personal abuse" etc. I suppose he should be pitied but he doesn't make it easy.
  7. Today wasn't the best performance I've seen from Saints in recent seasons but we deserved the win. I think that's the worst performance I've seen in Paisley by a Motherwell side for years! I think Richard Taylor gets better with every match and having "Mr. Stability" Alex Gogic alongside him will certainly do him no harm at all. What a goal by Caolan Boyd-Munce! I think he's improving with each game too. He came across well in his post-match interview on BBC Radio Scotland. As BuddieinEK has already said, Diarmuid O'Carroll was also interviewed on BBC Radio Scotland and he too came across well. A "good day at the office" by Saints and we're through to the next round of the League Cup! 🏁
  8. I'll not be able to attend this match unfortunately. Had it been the Saturday I'd have been ok to attend. I like it when we get a win over the "Dandies", a lot of their supporters still think they are the force they were in the Eighties and think they're entitled to success.
  9. Whoever it is looks like a "muppet".
  10. This is my first game of the new season. I don't think it's quite time to hit the panic button yet but we should be able to get good results against lower opposition. Every club and team are at the same stage of fitness etc., and bringing in new players so that excuse doesn't work for me. Hopefully we'll get the win we require today to get our League Cup campaign back on track. St. Mirren 2-1 Arbroath.
  11. https://www.heraldscotland.com/news/homenews/23580206.jim-gillespie-st-mirren-land-scandal-exec-wins-top-director-awards/ A CARE charity chief executive who is at the centre of a land 'scandal' involving one of Scotland's oldest football clubs has been been named one of the directors of the year in a prestigious awards ceremony...
  12. Hopefully ours won't have a "panel" on the back, that would be disappointing. It's funny though as the "experts" in the media have no problem recognising C*lt*c players when their names and numbers are surrounded by hoops.
  13. I actually like that! Grimsby Town have had some cracking strips over the years.
  14. Well done. You've "beaten me" for once. You must feel like a real man now!
  15. Good luck to him. He's done what he set out to do.
  16. I hope they knew the correct name of their own street. That could lead to not getting the right mail etc.
  17. An excellent thread, Albion Saint! I don't know if many, if any, on here are familiar with where Balfour Kilpatrick had a building in Renfrew. It was in Old Govan Road. Balfour Kilpatrick moved premises, to Hillington I think. Anyway, they built houses there, a nice wee looking estate and only recently, the occupants of the houses complained about the trees going along the side of the estate, starting at the corner of Old Govan Road and Glasgow Road. They said the trees, which had been there for years, were stopping sun and daylight getting to their gardens. So that was that, the trees all got taken away. The people that built the houses planted conifer type trees up against the fences of the gardens. It'll be funny if they grow tall enough to block the sun and daylight from their gardens again!
  18. Yeah, that's a very fair analysis, Linwood Buddie. I thought he was unlucky in a home match, when I saw the highlights later on I fully understood why the Referee had booked him.
  19. He was before my time but I have been told stories about his qualities and how he entertained the Paisley faithful.
  20. Green Mob Women 2-0 Blue Mob Women. A certain poster from Arbroath is having a nightmare of a football season!
