Only real criticism today (other than the goal obvs) was the all too familiar poor decision making in the final third. Other than that, pretty encouraging.
Do feel like it was a missed opportunity though. Hibs weren’t that good.
What a difference it makes when you have plenty of ball winning in the defensive midfield area.
Just need a bit more sharpness up front but very pleased with that first half performance.
I know YouTube clips need to be taken with a pinch of salt sometimes, but taking this one a face value, he really does look like the type of player we've been missing for ages. A proper ball winner. Time will tell. Good luck Sam.
Well done Div for pandering once again to that complete and utter fanny. You know you could save yourself a lot bother by just banning the complete and utter boring c**t.
By the way LPM, still waiting to “hear more” about my post. Excellent ploy by the way to get rid of your homophobic posts.
ETA - I see the Justin Fashanu one is still there. Not doing your job properly Div.
Good point Wendy.
So, really all we need to do is ship out another 6 crappy players from the current squad and then just make sure we sign 3 defenders the quality of Hegarty, Narey and Malpas, and 3 attackers the quality of Milne, Bannon and Sturrock.
I don’t agree that the Scottish Cup is a fair comparison FS.
Those are one off games and yes of course there are the occasional surprises.
However, the league format for the LC should allow the bigger teams to makes amends for one off slip ups. The fact that some of the “bigger” teams have been performing consistently poorly against the smaller teams (sufficiently so not to qualify) proves for me that the timing of this tournament is all wrong.
I’m well up on what is needed to achieve seeding. I’m saying the concept of seeding is shite.
Just another mechanism to give the biggest teams the best chance of getting through to the latter stages.
Why shouldn’t Celtic be able to draw Rangers. Load of bollocks.
I’m not so sure County will be down in the relegation zone with us this season. I think they’ll do well.
However, I think you can add St. Johnstone and Livingston to the list of teams we’ll be battling with. St. Johnstone in particular have had an even worse League Cup than us and that’s saying something. Surely Livi will struggle too having lost arguably all their best players.
