  1. This thread was really funny until Kemp came along and phuked it up with his "grow up you sexist pigs" pish and you lot all sh@t it. Can we please get back to general sexist mockery please.
  2. Nice one. Thanks Billy. What a line up! Nearly as good as ours.
  3. Anyone have the West Brom line up from this game? Didn't remember Ally Brown scoring a hat trick or a young Bryan Robson scoring. Seem to remember Cunningham and Regis both played, but would be interested to see the full line up.
  4. To this day, the West Brom game remains one of the best quality and most highly entertaining football matches I've ever attended in nearly 50 years of following football. With all due respect to our current heroes, could you imagine saying that about any St. Mirren game these days?
  5. Ha! Was just about to post something similar. I was going to say, anyone want to hazard a guess at what he will become known as if he turns out to be crap.
  6. I managed to get through the whole of Sunday and Monday without shedding a tear. Even when I rewatched the game on Monday night when I got back to Jersey. HOWEVER, on my half hour walk to work this morning I decided to listen to the radio Scotland podcast on my phone. Big mistake. Tears blunnin me all the way. Must've been some sort of delayed reaction. I'm not ashamed to say.............. Ah was fookin mortified!! :-)
  7. I am in London on Saturday so will definitely attend the F3K. Will you lads be wearing black and White carnations or something?
  8. For different reason's..... Minstros, New Street - First pub I properly drunk in every weekend at about 17 or so. Laverty's Wine Bar - For reasons already mentioned. The Clachan, Neilston Road - Some beltin' after work deathers in there when I worked for Blue Dart up the road. Could go on forever mind wi this kinda question.
  9. I don't remember it being raining but I was under 16 at the time and therefore didn't notice weather. I actually thought Dougie Somner scored both our goals that night. He definitely scored a pen or a rebound from his own saved pen. Sure someone can confirm. I know it went to extra time and Johnny Doyle scored the winner for Sellik. Ha Ha. To be fair, if memory serves me right, McGrain only broke MacDougall's leg after MacDougall had broken Tam MacAdam's.
  10. St. Mirren 3 Clydebank 1 - 1977 St. Mirren 3 Rangers 3 - 1977 St. Mirren 4 DUFC 1 - 1977 St. Mirren 6 Hearts 2 - 1985 St. Mirren 2 Celtic 3 - Midweek SC Cup game late 70s. Yes we lost but this game brilliant. 5 goals. 2 broken legs and 3000 locked ootside. All of the above are absolute musts and were definitely all televised.
