Thompson and McGowan were woeful today. Campbell pinned back and playing in wrong area. Wylde started OK but faded fast and unlike some are saying, his ball delivery was poor, should have been subbed but may get better with games. Goodwin and McGregor very good, McGinn good when on ball but not often enough. You wonder what out management team are seeing during games? As Danny is never out of his dug out wonder if he would be better viewing from back of main stand to get a higher vantage point and relay instructions from there? All in all baltic, wish we hadn't bothered shelling out for that one today. Meh

You can make an argument for Vanzy in Goodwins role when he is not there but both together is a non starter, proved today.

Van Zanten and Goodwin both in same position can never work, both too similar and slow. Thought McGowan could have come off earlier too, under performed in second half. Superb to be there today, that's what being a Buddie is all about. Yes McGinn was great but Kello MOTM for me, bloody superb. Good to be a Saints fan!

Hendrie. He brought a bit of showbiz and PR to the club that had been sadly lacking since the Fergie era, and is still lacking at the club today.
