  1. Hounded out again, as he should be.
  2. Yes Billy, I have noticed quite a few cringeworthy quotes from AW and ( I can only assume) his friend in the press who claimed AW was known by many as Mr., Saint Mirren - many of us have been supporting the Saints for 50 plus years and if anyone has ever heard of any individual being named as such I’d be very surprised, I certainly have never heard anyone being given that title.
  3. Obviously a Saints fan. His desire to own part of the club would be limited to buying shares from minority shareholders which would prove very difficult and would not automatically entitle him to a seat on the board. Apart from that the board would need to approve the sale of shares to him and I don’t think they would. I noticed that myself and some more of the walking football team appear in the background of the scenes filmed outside the SMISA stadium and I can confirm we were not asked to appear in the video and received no payment for our starring roles 😡
  4. Doesn’t even look like it’s raining 😁
  5. The British Linen Bank on Gilmour Street, it’s now the CeX shop. I don’t remember trams.
  6. Bus on the way into town from Glenburn, it’s on Caplethill road with the Esso petrol station on the right which by then may have been only a car repair business.
  7. You’re doubting the word of someone who has stated he was and in fact still is involved in large scale construction projects. Unbelievable that you rubbish his word without any personal knowledge of his career, I on the other hand do.
  8. That particular director, when asked at the AGM why he didn’t oversee the project, answered by saying he was never asked to get involved . And to answer one of your other questions, the “ legacy issues “ referred to are I believe the issues left by the previous board who sold their shares to SMiSA. Those issues in part being damp and rot in the then buildings which was simply boarded over to hide the problem. Those issues were not apparent when the deal went through but were noticed not long afterwards along with the broken undersoil heating system at the stadium.
  9. No it’s a Skye Crescent McGills bus travelling up Fairway Avenue. Braehead buses didn’t go up Fairway Avenue and neither did Fereneze Drive buses.
  10. People, mostly on TV, who nod their heads like a donkey after speaking.
  11. Suppliers contracts will be reviewed it states in the report. That to me means we had not been very prudent in choosing suppliers and there are probably other suppliers who can give us a fairer price for their services. Doesn’t read well for those responsible for the awarding of contracts at the time.
  12. Executive boxes, poorly costed, poorly planned and hideous to look at. The board member in charge of the project resigned before this story about shelving the idea was published.
  13. Violet street with Williamsburgh court fly hat in the background.Eadie brothers factory takes up most of the photo, they sponsored a decent amateur football team - Eadie Star.
  14. I have purchased 3 tickets and printed them off individually. The email you received will have one big QR Code in it, further down the email you will see 2 individual ticket links, they will show a different seat number on each. Click on the highlighted link on one and it will open up the ticket, click on the 3 wee dots at the bottom and that will show your options, click on share and you will get an option to print the ticket then do the same for the other ticket. Alternatively send me a message on here and I’ll send you my email address, forward the email to me and I’ll print your tickets off and give you them on the bus.
  15. Not semi-official, just very good at hiding 🙈
