  1. For some reason I didn't write anything about the day on here at the time so here goes. My mum and dad came along with me, my mum had never seen us win, so that was a bit of a risk. Dad drove us to Crewe and we got on the train, there was a lot of support for both teams on that train when it arrived in Glasgow, we got to the ground pretty early, it was our first visit to Hampden, as the teams kicked off I shivered as the massive saints support chanted COME ON YOU SAINTS!!!, I grabbed some guy in front when ISMA scored, and I ran down the steps at the final whistle, as I have always wanted to do since I saw the footage of 87, the year that I was born. At the bottom I saw the same guy I had grabbed earlier and grabbed him again, we walked back to central station and I was knackered at work the next day, but who cares I had seen MY team win at the national stadium.
  2. shocking performance, the dons were far from their best but we brought nothing to that game, no attacking options at all, first half was just big boot, wylde stayed out wide but we never got the ball to him, players deciding to run the ball to the goal line then cross instead of just putting it in the box when they had the chance first time, we never really opened up and got it switched, we need to find a formation that suits everyone soon, if not we are as good as down.
  3. Its mainly because I live in Leicester, theres loads of man u flops that Leicester City would take, let alone us.
  4. I have been singing this guys name since yesterady, what a signing it is, some of my mates say hes shocking as they view him as a man u flop, but hes here to prove a point and get into the world cup squad, I would love him to have a good world cup if he can get into the team, prove some people wrong.
  5. Let me guess, their next signings will be Alan Reid and Tom Brighton, Good luck Gus.
  6. 5 yrs to the day since the last game at LS, what a sad day it was.

  7. Butcher set his team up to make the game a slog, try to stop us showing our creative side, which shows how good we have become over the last few weeks, yes they had a 15 mins spell but it was always going to end 0-0 or 1-1 when he sets his team up to pack the middle of the park.
  8. Some of Mcginns little turns away from the RB were brilliant yesterday.
  9. just back, feels great to have seen a saints league win, this was my first saints away game and what a game it was, couple of things 1. The support right from the off was fantastic 2. Mair and McGregor are top quality, I was very impressed with Mairs pace in the 2nd half 3. DILO, DILO, DILO!!!! 4. It could have been 4 or 5. 5. I was the Muppet who rand down the stairs after the first goal wearing my teale 21 shirt. Simple, what a great day, if we play like that every week it will be top 6 easy.
  10. I'm up for the game tomorrow, 2-1 saints, Goodwin tae F**k em up in midfield, Thompson and Teale with the goals, we need to be right behind the team from the off, WE ARE THE BUDDIES!!!!
  11. I thought he put it in his own yet, decent performance, solid enough, hope danny sticks with it and then starts bringing in some players like caprice in for dvz etc, Goodwin must stay in mid, no way can we go back to playing him CB.
  12. I dont care who is in charge, but can we just play our strongest team and have players playing in their proper positions. Simple 4-4-2.
  13. shocking at the back, play mcgregor and mair next week, goodwin sounds like the new potter.
  14. Got to go for Haining V kille at Love St, last time I saw saints win a league game, Id just got up to go, stood at the back of the NB and everyone went mental because it moved us above killie in the league, also was at the dons game when Kirky equalised pretty late on.
  15. Hope Dilo does what Bullock did at tynecastle when he got his chance, COYS!!!
  16. Haven't got a clue what will happen tomorrow, will Dl stick with the 3 at the back? I just hope people know who they are marking. They don't seem to score too many so here's hoping for a 2-1 win, McGowan and Thommo. COYS!!!
  17. top service from awp today, 2 shirts printed and I was only in paisley from 2-5, top man.
  18. Just got back, Tbh we didn't play as bad as I thought we would, back three didn't have a clue who to pick for the first 20, full backs didn't either, harkins faded from the first min, it showed today that we need gowser more than we need harkins, they didn't offer much, but I thought we were the better team, Im sure I saw the linesman flag thommo offside from a goal kick....
  19. This is the first saints game that I have been to when I haven't got a clue what to expect, I just hope Danny plays our best team. I haven't seen us win a league game since may 08 so tomorrow would be a great day to put that right, Mon the saints!!!
  20. Quick question, can I ring the club shop on GHR tomorrow and order a shirt with name and number on then pick it up before the game on sat?
  21. This will be my first game of the season, and if DL doesn't start with something like this then we wont have a chance of getting anything Cornell Caprice 2 of Goodwin, McGregor, McAusland Grainger Teale Newton McGowan Mcginn/Mclean Thommo Harkins/Bahoken I hope we get a 2-1 win, but at the moment I cant see it.
  22. I think that DL has frozen him out to try to get him to leave before the window ends, when he is still here after the close of the window I hope he is involved in the first team.
  23. I remember Samson punching a corner into his own net under no pressure at all live on sky at home vs rungers, somehow the ref gave a free kick. Then Samson did get a lot better, so Im sure Cornell will be fine and fans will be singing his praises by the end of the season.
  24. Goal, THOMMO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
