Just in from Dumfries and although saints should have had this wrapped up in the second half they never took their chances. We scored then went to sleep. Cheesy sorry son you have improved but its been really poor from you this season. Kenny McLean I simply don't think merits a place in the team. Will play 3/4 excellent games a season but is a passenger at min. We can blame the manager all day and I am confused with his signings but the players let him down tonight. I can honestly say that we look so easy to beat. If you get ahead of us we seem to chuck it. Where's the spirit of Hamden v hearts where's the hunger to do well? Danny I actually feel sorry for tonight as I think there appears to be some problems behind the scenes. Why else would a manager be left with one striker? Is my point from early July true? Maybe the board are getting set to axe him? I would let him have September and see if he can turn this around. He at least deserves the chance after winning the cup last year. If we haven't improved by tynecastle on oct 5 th then maybe it is time

The first div is not the place to be its pretty crap lets be honest. I cannot believe that we are now not a spl team one that is established and doesn't always finish fighting the drop. It's an absolute disgrace if the board don't care if we go down. Maybe they will care when season tickets drop, hospitality drops, sponsorship drops, and they still can't sell the club. I would be absolutely gobsmacked if we don't sign at least three players

Danny should be given another month or so. I think he deserves that. However listening to the radio it seems the fans are now turning big time. Hugh Keevin's has said Saturday is a must win for Danny ? I find it hard to disagree. Saturday is a big one as really we should beat queens tomorrow shouldn't we?

Ross county after more proven spl players to enhance their squad. Saints are after two young boys to compliment the other young boys on the bench. I know money is tight but let's look at the Perth saints. They resigned Murray Davidson who is arguably their best player and ok we got McGowan who on his day is class. But let's look at the striking options- st.j have Nigel, Maclean, fallon and may and they too want more players. Is it fair to say we have Steven Thompson ? Harkins is not a forward. I am trying to imagine why the squad of the league cup winners is so small when clubs with lower gates than is seem to be expanding? What I will say is that at the minute we are in trouble and its now when we need to get out of it. Negativity is a disease and its rife in the saints camp. We need this week for investment in the squad. I hope we get it. If we don't and its wee boys we sign I am fearful. I do not want to be in the league below playing rangers next year. I want to be in the top league holding our own and pushing on just like every other team seems to do at some pont

I know Craig brown would take it and steady the ship. He would be the ideal man to sort this team out. I know he said he retired but speaking to him during the summer I feel he might do it

I agree I don't want Thompson to take over. The second season was really good and Danny had us motoring but I actually think the loss of Nigel was quite a turning point. The wee fellow was dynamite and I for one really enjoyed watching him. We were exciting and going to ibrox and playing them off the pitch showed that. I do not know what's went wrong and I suspect Danny doesn't either but if he has no budget then tell us then maybe we can turn the heat elsewhere?? It is a shambolic start to the season and I can't believe the lack of replacements for those who have gone. If this is the end which I don't think it is then who do we go for ? Craig brown would do a fantastic job for us and I know he would take it . But it's being disrespectful to suggest that as Danny is still in charge. I feel that he needs two wins this week tho to have any hope

I am sad actually that its not working out. I think the board need to clarify what's happening with finance and does Danny have any. If he doesn't then why doesn't he? I would like to also say that oaksoft , dibble I am realist and I think the next week is crucial and if it goes wrong you two will need to get real also!!!!

Calling someone that isn't acceptable in any situation especially on a website frequented by youngsters. I recall in the midst of our six game losing streak saying wait until Christmas give the manager time? Didn't mention that did you? You clearly have a short memory. Sacking the manager no not after winning a cup but I admit I started to feel it in those games when Dundee went on a run. Be honest that's all you can do. I love my team and yes I am critical but for god sake can you hand on heart say our league form is satisfactory? I am happy all day to be called whatever but c'mon lets keep it clean and someone posting that at midnight on a sat night isn't the best. Maybe you think I am that but I see it different. We all support the team and I am just simply frustrated as I see other wee teams do better week in week out.
