I agree with that David. It makes you wonder why we brought in Drury when we have our own home grown players who can fill the little boy lost role. IMO however , he simply doesnt seem to have it to perform consistently at this level. His inclusion in our starting line up simply highlights how woeful our player additions in the last 5-6 transfer windows have been.

So Tranmere sacked their boss who had very little experience as a manager , after only 5 months coz the side were playing crap, showing no sign of progression & had only 9 points from 13 games winning only two league games ??? Hmm , i have a cunning plan ......

The occasional good performance we have seen this season has simply been papering over the cracks. Tommy Craig is ,at best , a half decent assistant. Only one ill fated gig as a club boss in his 62 years tells us enough about the man & his ambition /ability. Charleroi found him out after 5 months of the season, if he stays with us for the same we will be relegated for sure. We are led to believe the players wanted TC as boss to succeed DL. If this is the case those players who are still here are not performing for their chosen leader, Maybe he hasnt got the kahunas to be the Boss-man & not their pal. You have to then question his man management ability The players that he brought to the club are not making the grade, you then have to question his judgement on players ability to perform at this level. The tactical ineptitude from someone with such a long time in the game is astonishing, puzzling selections, woeful substitutions & inability to rectify ongoing issues week after week . His trackside demeanour & actions do little to inspire his players (both onfield & those looking for motivation from the bench) & he seems to inhabit his own little world when it comes to post match analysis !! Times up tommy, do us all a favour, its time for you to look out the Werthers originals & leave the managerial game to those who know what is required to be competitive in the modern game.
