  1. It was obviously a ... pause for dramatic effect. So what was this one for ? 😂
  2. There is so much the authorities and clubs could do to stop this carry on or at the very least reduce it significantly. Managers getting sent off & mouthing at refs doesn’t help matters. Clubs making it public that they don’t want a specific ref to officiate their games stokes up resentment and a sense of injustice before a ball is kicked and players behaving like angry teenagers showing no respect for authority doesn’t help matters . I like the idea of cards for excessive arguing - perhaps introducing a sin bin ? I’d also take the Rugby idea of 10 yard penalty for continued dissent . They’d soon stop when it got to 9 yards outside the Box !! As for manhandling the officials ? I’d start with 5 game bans depending on the severity of the incident with subsequent repeat offences receiving that + another 5 & so on. I’d also keep these bans on the players record should they move clubs, that might make the hotheads think twice and make clubs think twice about signing someone who already has an increased ban hanging over their head. it’s a part of the modern game which saddens me, respect for authority in general seems to have slipped to an all time low and football is mirroring that - or is football setting the trend ? 🤔😏
  3. Splitting hairs ? A spelling mistake is one thing , you called someone out for something that simply wasn’t there . 😂
  4. I don’t see any claims . I see a question . 🤷‍♂️
  5. Roos Stewart will have the gloves. Very able keeper .
  6. If I were you , I think I’d hold off on that type of post until late May . This is St.Mirren we’re talking about here . 🙄
  7. I suppose it depends which poll you chose to believe . Here’s the latest poll commissioned by GB News of all people, who let’s face it - aren’t exactly Indy friendly !!
  8. You’d have thought so , ‘Boro seem to have realised their mistake pretty early on, after three very brief sub appearances. It was off to the U-23s for yer man .
  9. I agree about the managers gamble bit , I suppose every unknown player has the chance to turn out to be a diamond …….or another Junior Morais !! This isn’t some raw 17-18 year old here, he’s coming up to 26 , if there was a player there, I think it would have emerged by now. We can only assume Robbo chose not to do a quick wiki check - could have given him an idea of what we were getting 😂 As with every player who joins us I hope he succeeds but given what we’ve seen so far and his track record to date elsewhere ….I’m not filled with confidence .
  10. Henderson stars for Sneckie , sets up the goal on Friday while Olusanya is sat on his arse on the bench for struggling Arbroath . We have given this guy a two year deal. 🤷‍♂️
  11. Derek Ferguson after the match was very critical of the playing surface , have to say it didn’t look great on Telly. Grass looked too long , ball was holding up terribly .
  12. No idea why I quoted you guys twice 😂
  13. Just watching the Highlights, Gogic is indeed middle of a back 3 as you guys say. Dunno what Beeb were on about 🤷‍♂️
  14. Radio saying he played as a holding mid. Which is where we should play him.
  15. Yep , Burke & McBurnie haven’t featured for almost 2 1/2 years while Fraser hasn’t been picked as he’s training with the U-23s and looking to move clubs .
  16. No , im Fine with that thanks . My offering certainly wouldn’t come into the “most” category . Hope you enjoyed it 🇮🇹
  17. If it was still like this you probably could. 😯
  18. Softest penalty I’ve seen In ages , I’ll take it though 😎👍
  19. Like many other buds, I’d walk up North Street and Back Snedd occasionally after games to cross the wee bridge across the cart . Don’t remember seeing this at all. I’m talking mid - late 70s Era.
  20. I have absolutely no recollection of this at all ! Where was it in relation to todays town layout and when did it shut down ?
  21. I was in Aberdeen last week and took a stroll along Union Street , plenty of empty shops and ones which look as if they are on their last legs. Unfortunately, "high street shopping" in general seems to be dying on its arse across the land, I saw a stat that a third of shops in Sauchiehall street are now lying empty - who’d have thought that would be the case just 10 years ago ? As more people go online, more shops will close and then folk will moan that the Toon Centres deid ! If you didn’t use it you’ll lose it !
